When trance was this good, they didn't call it "EDM". Music festival tickets (what we called raves) didn't cost $300-$500 per ticket. DJ's made music for dancing and were in it for the music. And we danced! We didn't stand around all waiting for massive beat drops like you see today.

Just no. Just say to a technohead tech house is techno, and he will bash you. There is no sense in trying to rewrite electronic music structure and stylistics from scratch or appropriating names. Armin is out of trance, he is a ambassador with asot, not a producer anymore

I am young and i remember as a 3 year old i used to hear music like this and knew this music was for me. i couldnt wait to grow up to go clubbing or raving thinking it would be the same. Now i dont even feel like going out to any, the music isn't really good or uplifting. I love early Electronic music, especially Trance.
