Anyway, bravo to Dilara for standing her ground I love this woman. Her acting was absolutely marvellous👌😌 that man is a crazy I still don’t understand why he still hasn’t seen where his mistakes are. Lord help him cuz he needs it
He truly believed he had the right to control Dilaras life because of the child but she has shown him otherwise by autosuggestion he now knows he cannot. She has withheld the information he needs to act upon. In his mind he is doubting her intentions towards their child, he thought she had an abortion but her knowledge of his state of mind has put her back in control she is refusing to converse with him regarding her intentions .He deserves to live in pain after everything he has done to others

First of all I am so elated that I can view my all time favorite series again. These actors are exemplary.
On another note..While I understand Surreya's need to help the family sometimes she needs to listen. How can she ignore Adem's treatment of her the previous day then pretend to not understand why her husband beat Adem 🤔 Stop with nonsense Surreya and show some disgust for the situation at hand.

Faruk's lack of self-control and temper (same for Fikret and Murat) mirrors Esma's fiery reactions. You'd think at some point that Faruk would consider how much it ruins his life and those around him.
Faruk has been brought to the brink of what any man can handle and beyond. His concern for Sureyya's safety and the fact that she completely disregarded his fear after the Adem incident is what brought him to this point. If she wanted to support him, she should've listened to him until things have normalised then she could be her rebellious self again. But her behaviour is pushing Faruk over the edge. She's waaay to naive in thinking that Adem won't harm her or their child...after everything that happened.
@@ChristaLourens No matter what Sureyya does, he has the ability to respond in a way that is constructive. His behavior does little to improve the outcomes he wants and his relationships. At some point, a person needs to learn self-control, even in the most challenging situations.

Yet she went without telling anyone where she was going knowing full well Faruk will panicked when he cannot get hold of her ,she should texted him a message letting him know where she was the least she could have done. Sureyya needs to understand there is a difference between been stubborn and been stupid and she been very stupid . If she wants to be free spirited than don't get married or if do married someone who is like you free spirited not a man always dressed in business suits . She knew who Faruk was before she married him she knows he will do anything to protect his family at all cost and after events from the day before she should have listened to her husband .
If Surreya is truly stubborn or unreasonable like people think, why does Faruk always regret his actions and always apologizes. Please give the woman a break!!! By the way, she is the heroine of this tale/true life story, it was named after her ISTANBULLU GELIN!!!

Dilara is way more sensible than Surreya. I cannot stand her ignorance, she never learns. She always creates problems for Faruk and never accepts she's wrong. Always playing the victim too. I admire Dilara for standing up to her husband and using her intelligence to bargain with her husband.

I feel like Faruk needs to take a chill pill. I know he's stressed but allowing Adem to get him only puts Faruk in more trouble. Faruk has some anger issues to work out . Surreyya can work and do things while also being at home. But she feels suffocated being completely at home and having no work life outside. In my opinion, both Faruk and Surreyya need some therapy to work on their own stubbornness. I feel like going to see that therapist Adem was seeing will work wonders for their relationship and help them communicate their feelings and views without waiting to blow up from holding it in. Their current situation is stressing them out too much...

Some people call Sureyya stubborn and blame her. In my opinion those who see things in this light do not take into account the circumstances and the whole picture. Yes but all she had to do was text her husband where she was going to be. It would have taken less than five seconds to send a text after she husband begged her not go out because he would worried about what Adem can do. He even gave in and said if you do go out don't go alone but she did not listen like always. Faruk had no problem with her going out and doing her thing but he knew that Adem is a dangerous person look what he did to his own brother yet Sureyya is niave enough to think that he would not hurt her .

Surayye is an adult woman, she should not behave like an impulsive adolescent girl and make decisions for herself, since she has a partner to whom, at such a critical moment that they are living in uncertainty due to the latent threat of Adem, who at any moment with his desire for revenge puts the life of any of the family at risk, she must inform even by text message, where she is her little daughter that she is also putting at risk as well.

Sureyya wanted to go help the band. And so she did. Sureyya wanted to wait for Dilara. Again, she did. At the end of this episode, Sueryya is in a dark hole tying on balloons all depressed. Why? She is pretty much doing what she wants! Right?
Anyway- this episode is super interesting because whatever Sureyya chooses to do to live her best life for Yaz, we are privileged to know, Yaz ends up not appreciating her Mother at all. Yaz makes Sureyya out to be pretty awful.

Sureyya is really getting on my nerves. No empathy whatsoever for her husband who is just trying to keep his family safe from that monstrous madman. Lots of people have gone through traumatic childhoods, some even worse than his, but we don't go around trying to destroy someone to make up for it. We try to become better people.
People don't change! Adem did not change even with therapy.
Adem started to change but then his psycho mom committed suicide. At that point he lost all the trust he gained with therapy and also felt he has to carry on his deceased mother wish to destroy the Borans. Also he stopped therapy.

Thank you for the English subtitles. Appreciate it. I find Esma, Faruk, and Fikret are so reactive and labile. Always jumping to the wrong conclusions. I feel for Syrreya, she is trying to hold on to her profession, identity, and help the family in her way. I’d lose my S**t if a man talked to me like that. Garip, Osman, and Syrreya can actually step back, look at things objectively and come up with different perspectives. What a sacrifice Dilaria made for the Boran family. She is still pregnant, she just needed to make a point to Adem. He needs to go back to therapy

Oh yes that is how come she ended up in a marriage with a volatile and mentally unstable man, because she knows how to bury her identity and adapt to others - unhealthy behaviour. Sometimes, one is just unable to support nonsense. Self LOVE first and always even if you have to be a little selfish which Surreya isn't even. Remember, it was lack of self love that made Esma the way she was before she fell in love with Garip.
I don’t believe Sureyya is to blame because she’s trying to help and do what makes her happy. She’s an independent woman and she was like that from the beginning before she met Faruk. Faruk is one ignorant man for that because he knew this and this is why he liked her but now it’s an issue that she can’t do what she loves and also help the family out. He can say sorry and he expects her to behave and forgive but she said sorry countless of times and it went to deaf ears.

Faruk nit upset that she wants to sing or help out what he is angry about is that he told to stay at home or if she goes out to not do it alone . Not her fault at all. Everyone should take responibility for their own actions. Faruk knew Adem was goading him, yet he chose to get into a brawl. When he is dealing with buiness and others, he somehow tends to measured in his reactions and cool headed but when it come to when Surreya "does her own thing" he can NOT keep his cool? @@MrsAPV Hello, different situations. First, Surreya did not have a back story with Can, like a child/son. Also, the reasons she didn't tell Faruk about Can's intentions/motives were 1. She couldn't prove it. 2. She didn't want to escalate the already volatile situation between her husband and Can and most importantly, 3. She didn't reciprocate Can's feeling and neither were their any blurry lines. Can, for all intents and purposes was inconsequential. Faruk couldn't say the same about Begum.
Also, fast forward into the future, it always Faruk that gets into compromising situations with other women and has to beg his way out of them. - Begum, Gozde, his PA/Secretary.
Yes he loves his wife without question, but she is not psychic and somethings needs to be explained. Even the best of marriages need care and communication. A lot of times Faruk takes that for granted.
Enough talk about Faruk and Surreya. I wonder why people do not berate and castigate Fikret's selfish immature behaviour, even Ipek, as much as they beat and press down on Surreya. Those two in my opinion do enough deplorable things each episode they are in to warrant sufficient insults and condemnation in the comments...just saying.

Oh my goodness Surreya isn’t being self aware in this episode at all. Yes it was completely fair for her to attend the work call at the studio considering Faruk said he would be busy, certainly not her fault that Faruk assaulted Adem but considering the events of the day before with being held up by Adem at the coffee shop she could have sent a heads up txt to Faruk. When Faruk made it clear no one to come to the Police station, she still came.. rather than understanding his frustration he must feel for being arrested at work humiliated.. she then goes on about not being allowed to do this and that music when she knows damn well a psycho who ripped their whole livelihoods from under their nose is free and after Dilara, who is close with surreya! Then she still wants to sit wait for Dilara to come back from Adem rather than helping Faruk feeling like he has some control over the situation and going home with him to ease the tension, no she still has to do things her way.
I just want this scene by this time i pass na this epesod so stress and becoming worst. To the part of the vida.

Am I the only one who can see this Sureyya character is too much? 🤷 If someone says no, it means NO. It is always not about you. You have to respect the other person's likes and dislikes. I seriously hope that the young girls who are watching this drama will not adapt this attitude. You cannot help another person by forcefully doing what they don't want you to do. That is not helping. That is pure selfishness and disrespect. I hope people will realize that. The more I watch, the more I can see the toxic side of Sureyya's character.
