I'm so glad you're feeling better Randy! Go for the diesel Jag! To me sounds like a clogged DPF or is having issues with the low pressure fuel pump (clogged up filter?). Modern diesel fuel sometimes do algae’s in the tank because of the "bio" content.
I would avoid the Jag at all costs. The patrols are fine but the diesels are garbage.

Hey Randy. Hope you're healing well. My leg is a little ahead (not a lot) of schedule, according to the physical therapist. I haven't driven or even worked on my car since the last week of December prior to my injury. I shot you an email. I know you're busy, though.

Wow! This Bentley looks amazing even with the dent! It's crazy how sometimes a car with a salvage title can be a total steal. Especially if the damage is just cosmetic like this. The fact that it also has all the bells and whistles on the inside makes it even more tempting. For $15k, I would definitely take a chance on this Bentley! Although, I would probably check the brakes and make sure the check engine light isn't hiding anything major before I pulled the trigger.
He can’t bring a scan tool or anything out, so he can’t diagnose at all before bidding

id say try to get the jag if you have the time and money to work on it, the filter is probably clogged knowing them. they are known to actually go into limp mode when their clogged often too and can cost up to $4k to replace!
The diesel jaguar would be pretty cool to see

You’re sounding better.. however, having done a similar surgical procedure, know that you’re not healed yet.. takes a few months (6) before it’s recommended to lift anything less than 10-20 lbs.. better safe than SORRY.
The Bentley is 4 door because you’re not meant to drive it yourself. If you have the cash to buy one new, you get your chauffeur to drive. It would make a good premium uber car
Randy, I’ve worked for a few dealers, usually if it’s a retail dealer who is sending to auction it’s either too expensive to fix OR over 10 years old OR high mileage, banks they work with don’t usually approve cars that don’t meet those standards

Love diesels myself. Although it has the SCR system. That can get expensive if either the DPF is damaged or the main SCR catalysts are shot. Then it'll run into big money quickly. 😮😮😮😢😢😢😢😢
@@carlbernard4197 your probably right, I’m in Europe and have had several diesels, have a diesel focus now that I bought used as a 3 year old car low mileage and spent 7k fixing it, clogged dpf

Hope you’re feeling better Randy. I got hooked from watching your super cheap Model S you recently sold. I almost contemplated bidding on it until I realized your videos gave me more confidence on buying a slightly older version versus the refreshed 2021+ models. Plus they’re far cheaper and after renting one on Turo for a few days. I figured 240 miles is doable for my daily use. I went ahead and found one in Illinois for $22k out the door without spending a dime since I took advantage of the used EV tax credit and it was marked at $23999. It’s a 2018 Model S 75D with the upgraded MCU, enhanced AP 2.5, and 86k miles. Not my preferred interior (cream/wood) but it was my desired (now discontinued) beautiful silver metallic. I replaced both headlights since the original top DRL went out. And feel ALOT more confident working on the car after seeing your videos. Next on the list is replacing the wood panels with the CF trims or wrapping them myself. Keep up the great work!

Believe that's not a "Diesel filter" on the Jag. It's a cat w/what looks like either air or DEF lines...you can't legally buy used emissions equipment by EPA/DOT regs
That is the DPF right there behind the turbo and the SCR catalyst is part of that component. 😊

Hey Randy you should buy the Chevy Cruze.
Randy that's a beautiful car if you can get it as a reasonable price you must get it.
The fuel cut-off switch on that Ford Ranger should be on the fire wall behind the glove box.
To me the Jag would be more interesting than the Flying Spur since you don’t see many non truck diesels in the U.S.
The infinity could have been a new car trade in that the dealer didn't want to sell on there lot because maybe it has high mileage or the car looked to beat up for them to put on the lot
