Villa Fan, Good luck to the Scots. they might surprise a few people along the way. No pressure on them whatsoever. What a difference to the 1st World cup i remember in Argentina 1978. Scotland were the only British side to qualify, and were blessed with some of the best players in Europe let alone Britain in the likes of Souness, Dalglish, Robertson, Jordan, McQueen, Gemmell, Hartford, Willie Johnston etc. Their 1-1 draw against Iran really ended their campaign. Their 3-2 victory over finalists Holland showed what could have been.

@@jnwallace2000 my cousins are French born and raised, first language is French. but both parents are Scottish and when they speak English they speak with a Glaswegian accent. its the accent they grew up hearing at home so its what they adopt.
It's not that difficult to grasp their mum has a thick Glaswegian accent and didn't want them to loose the roots
@@johant23 I live in Cardiff but from W wales originally and my daughter the opposite. Speaks perfect welsh, English accent. Hence my surprise.
I know Germans who learned English from Scottish and Irish partners and speak English in their accents.

Come Friday there will be 10's of thousands of Scotland fans in Germany for the Euro's . At least half of them shall be the SMSM scoops on a freebie with expenses ,covering the championships . You'll know them by sight ...they will have umbrellas up covering themselves as its been raining in Bavaria and dont like getting wet !
