Screen was other way around. Ypu can plug it both ways ... need to watch the small arrows though you cant fit it on chorus. Need to swap to aymphony or concert radio unit. Unlock it to work. Buy the cable and all done

AC turning on randomly, there is any fix?
will it work on S5 from 2007?
My mmi tells me AMI is not connected. Even my old AMI Bluetooth isnt recognized anymore. So i dont get audio out of the radio via aux anymore. Dont know how to fix this issue. Anyone fixed the same problem ? (Tried with the 3,5mm AMI and without)
If the AUX or AMI option is not available in the MMI system, connect the supplied MMI cable to get AUX or AMI.

No. But you can change chorus with symphony or concert is plug and play you just need the color screen, cable for it , radio unit and coding and you good to go

*Camera: if rear camera not works
1. If it is OE camera, just need to choose "OEM camera" in camera type in android setting(System->Camera Selection->OEM Camera).
If it is aftermarket camera, need to choose "aftermarket camera" in camera type in android setting , BMW manual gear car need to go into factory setting to change it from Automatic to Manual.
For wiring aftermarket camera, check camera connection in the paper in the package.（bmw manual and automatic gearbox wiring is different）
2. If still not work: please try all option in Factory setting->Vehicle->gear Selection-gear 1, 2, 3 to check which one makes the camera work
3.If it still does not work, please confirm whether the optical fiber is switched and whether the "can protocol" is set correctly

Hi, thanks for these great instructions. I made it work just like that 😀 One question though: I have confirmed a setting to use the existing bluetooth connection for phone calls. This works, however if I take a call on the Carplay interface, the microphone is not connected the the Android head unit. Is there a way to revert this setting (or even better enable it both ways)? Thanks
