It's been quite a while since I've given you an update on my 2011 BMW 335d Sport. In case you've forgotten, it's had the bimmerperformance Stage 2+ tune put on it, as well as a DP (downpipe), EGR, DPF and SCR deleted.
In this video, I go through the process of buying the correct brake pads and rotors for the BMW 3 series (e90 e91 e92) and go through the installation process on installing the new pads and brake rotors.

I just found you on UA-cam. We have 2 bmw’s 335d. The dpf filter is messing up on one. Hopefully I’ll be able to delete it soon
Send it to Kassel Performance if you want to hit the link day button
@@FlyinGato where are they located?
@aliveandkicking17 York, PA
@@FlyinGato I’m down in NC
For my car i need 374x36 Brake disc With pads its like 7-900 euros ;) just the front
Put anti-seize on the hubs of all brake jobs. Saves you a lot of time getting frozen rotors off next time. I was surprised that yours were not frozen from salt here in the Northeast. If you have to pound away at frozen rotors note that your pounding away at the bearings which are taking that load. Many bearing jobs can be a royal pain and are definitely a royal pain on BMW.
When you did your EGR delete and tune did it negate the need for computer to have you adding Uriya fluid?
No that's the SCR delete
Give me for present your 335 bro 😍🤣
No way I love it!
Are you going to make a video on how these perform/feel compared to stock.
FlyinGato I am curious too if you liked them. I was going to get something else until I saw these and the price like you said is pretty good. Are they worth it for the price?
These are excellent for brisk street use
I did the brakes on my 335i today and while I was doing the passenger side brakes I noticed a section of brake fluid on the floor. I checked the resirvoir and I was leaking. You just answered my question. 😂 I still left it over night to check for leaks just to be safe.
Let us know what you think of your new brakes. I have a BPC stage 2.5 that need brakes due to warped rotors. The stock rotors dont like stopping from 150 on a regular basis.
Do you have the part number or kit you used ? I though the video was very useful. I picked up a few tips Thanks for the effort.
O.K. so it's been a year since install of new Stop Tech rotors for $172.00.....How have they preformed? Was it worth the savings? Thanks.
They have been perfect, still looking brand new, 40k miles later
@@FlyinGato .....Damn. I wanted to believe more money for Zimmermann was better, but I guess I just pissed away a few bills on that one.
Hi very nice video of brake replacment. I have one question.
In this video you have put the stoptech standard line rotors and not the premium line is this correct? And pads are also standard not the ceramic one?
Thank you in advance.
Yep, correct on everything
@@FlyinGato thank you.
Sweet brother
Told you I'd be back putting out the videos! 😁
@@FlyinGato yes you did
Are you going to put out a video on how to change the fuel filter?
Yessir!
How do you bleed/replace the brake fluid?
very easy, I do it on my Type R every time I race. I'll be doing it to my Prelude soon too. It's the same thing in every car. I'll do it again in the 335d soon (I like to do it a lot, cause why not lol) I'll shoot a vid and share it.
@@FlyinGato Thank you. I will wait for it :)
Bro what's with that smoke when start-up? Did You solve that problem?
