Hi doctor do loss of. Normal pancreatic lobulations means auto immune pancreatitis??
Loss of normal pancreatic lobulations isn't specific to autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP). This change can also be seen in other conditions affecting the pancreas, including various types of pancreatitis. A definitive diagnosis should be made by your healthcare provider and a pancreas specialist, who will consider your clinical symptoms, lab results, and imaging studies.
If you're in the US, we recommend consulting with one of the experts listed in our autoimmune pancreatitis blog. They can provide more personalized advice and help address your health needs and queries.

I got it from immunotherapy! I don’t see much on this topic. The pain was awful. It involves
pancreas only and comes back when I wean off prednisone. No elevated igg4.
Hello @mpoharper, we are sorry to hear this. We raised your query with our expert and have some feedback and additional info. Could you write to us at info@mission-cure.org and mention your comment so we can respond with more details? Thank you!
