Awesome easy recipe, thanks! I used a shoulder of lamb just over 1kg. I didn't use any anchovies in the paste but I did add some sage as well as rosemary. I like mine a bit darker than showed in the video, so I also only turned it down to 210 instead of 200. Went well with some homemade bread and roast veggies.
I tried this method because it sounded good. The problem with this method is when you brown the meat in a fry pan with garlic, the garlic burns and then becomes bitter. I don't know how you got to where you were with the cooking of the lamb without the same result. Did I do something wrong? Thanks.
Hey Rejina, I just came here to say thanks! It’s Christmas Eve and I’ve never been able to cook anything decent, but I got a newborn and my foreign mum-in-law over, so I took a look at this video. Took me 3 hours total, but I’m so proud I totally nailed it! I think I just learnt to enjoy cooking! Thanks very much. Merry Christmas))
what about the the roast Potatoes. i have a oven and hob and one roasting pan. i have always used the meat juices on my potatoes and make the gravy separately how do you do yours
for time sake.. i would take roasts.. grind itcooks right e up an really good .. steam buns..on top as finishing . then its all ready.. ..plentyfor later too.
Never cooked lamb, any suggestions for a first timer with this meat? I have been cooking for almost two decades, but namely game meat, beef, chicken, and pork.
I assume you are talking about your attitude being Raw cause that lamb was perfect your emotional state is something to be desired you should get some help with that.....

Can I add one tip? I'm always wary of getting metal foil anywhere near the meat. I wrap cooked meat in baking parchment first before wrapping in foil.
Love the recipe! Thank you....the Absolutely stunning lady making it is pretty awesome as well 😍😍😍

Fabulous . I never thought of just cutting off what I need. Always cut the whole thing and stored the rest. Won't be doing that anymore. Cheers
Thank you for a lovely recipe and very well explained too.

Browning the meat does not keep the juices in ... it browns it. That’s it
Samuel Heart Yes, sealing meat to keep juices in is a complete myth.

Looks flavorless look pretty pale when you're adding your seasoning in which I might say was nothing more than flavor on the outside.
