Hi Dave, thank you very much for your video. I'll appreciate it if you could make a detailed video about the CPT and user registration functionality. I'd checked the Fluent Forms website, there were not enough details about these subjects. I would love to see it's compatibility with every ACF fields and if it's supporting the repeater field.
Love this tool and glad got in with them in December. Would be great if you could do the video with custom lost type creation and some ideas how one could use that feature.
Yes, Yes, Yes! Front end editing or at least capture of CPT in an elegant and built in manner is the holy grail of forms (for me that is ACF). I patched this together with GF and 3rd party plugins but if FF's can do this then I would jump in a heartbeat!
Great vIdeo Dave! Yes user registration and custom postype tutorial would be awesome. Did you ever work with fluent crm? Any chance to get a walk through and it’s integration with fluent form and fluent SRTP?
Hey MIchel! Thanks for the comment. Yes, I've been waiting for FluentCRM to mature just a bit before making a video about it, they just released an update today, and I think it's time :)
I'm in on the LTD. The only thing I really use Gravity Forms for is CPT *updating* and Pods integration. I also really like GravityWiz's Populate Anything that allows fields to be populated based on criteria (i.e. only show posts that have "xyz" set as a taxonomy, or only the ones created by "user"), which I use with Pods custom relationship fields. Unfortunately, that means I need a GF Elite subscription AND a GravityWiz Perks subscription. Blah. I'd love for FF to include those items, especially the update post / user information options.
Thanks for the recommendation! Feedback: maybe you could show the tool working at the beggining of the video, so we can already know how it will look like
I actually picked this up back around Black Friday 2019. I'm mostly excited to hear you describe their momentum. I have an old grandfathered Gravity Forms "Personal" account that I'd like to get rid of eventually. It looks like this might be possible soon. :-)
@@dave-swift Not neccesarily native features but what one can build combining it with Gravity Views and Gravity Flow. I'm not sure Fluent Forms can compete there yet. But for everything native, I'm with you on Fluent Forms.
@@dave-swift Well that is strange. I replied to this earlier but it didn't actually post. There is a 3rd party plugin that makes my $20 something grandfathered individual Gravity Forms license work with Braintree. A small non profit that I manage the site for gets like $50,000 or so of processing for no cost. Thus the keeping of that license. Maybe Fluent Forms will add Braintree eventually, but that doesn't seem to be their focus. Or maybe a 3rd party plugin community will develop around Fluent Forms. Obviously, as an LTD owner I want them to get really big and compete with the big boys. :-)
Seems really nice form and great video explaining the functionality of it. One thing i missed is where/how can we set the e-mail to receive the form data?
Hi, great video, now I am subscribed! Just a question, how can I make questions display once pero question? I hope the question is well made :( Thank you
They have added this feature since I made the video. Check their instructions here: wpmanageninja.com/docs/fluent-form/payment-settings/accept-recurring-payments-with-wp-fluent-forms-wordpress-plugin/?ref=71 (affiliate link)
Great video! re payment forms. Is it possible to work out additional shipping costs for orders? I can't find any example forms that have implemented it, but I assume it would be via conditional logic?
Yes -- that is a good idea to use conditional logic, but if you have complex needs for shipping or fees, I would probably go with a dedicated payment plugin. Check out WP Simple Pay (affilate) get.profitable.tools/wpsimplepay
Hey @Dave I hope you and your family (and little one) have been well. Can you please gives us a good comparison between Happy Forms vs Fluent forms... As you know there is a lifetime deal going on for both. One thing I have experienced about flaunt form is the customer service wasn't to good in responding back especially if you have clients to deal with that's the last thing on needs to happen.
One big miss from this plugin is the lack of fallback alerts if an integration fails. I.e. Active Campaign submission fails. And you have zero idea about submission failure unless you dig into the submissions in WordPress. Not sure if Gravity or anyone else does this better. But it’s crazy that it’s missing.
Do you know if the front end submission to form feature allows for an administrator to review the user submitted post first before it goes live in the site? It would seem that would be important.
@@dave-swift @Emma Jack Hey, it actually does work on the free version. In order to activate it you have to fill in working reCAPTCHA API keys in the Fluent Forms global settings first (this is the reason it stays greyed out).
@@martintenev1169 Yes it worked. Just editing I bought pro and have created awesome contact form and also payment form integrated with stripe and pypal. I watch your video many times and followed it through. You are so awesome, I like your style of speaking😎🇬🇧✅
FluentForms was one of my best investments in 2019.
Yup, me too! Keeps getting better. I love the landing page feature. Slowly replacing our Paperform with it.

Thanks for the detailed request. It helps me know what to focus on :)
Great demo... I’d love to see a full demo on registration and custom post type 🙂
Alright 👍

Thanks Andrew! This seems to be a popular request.
awesome video, I love your speed! Yes pls. make a video on filling in a CPT with Fluent Forms!
Thanks Daniel! Will do.

Thanks you for this amazing tutorial
You're very welcome!
Great review great pace and to the point
Thanks John, Glad you liked it! Happy turkey day.
J'ai pris le plugin et je suis devenu fou lorsque j'ai vu tous les modèles 😍
*Merci* pour cette vidéo, je dois maintenant maitriser l'outil.
Wow, I love that! Thank you so much!! 🍀👏
Glad you enjoyed it!

That's a good idea. Thanks Emma.

Also I love the polls, but how do i then get to display the results on my webpage automatically?
Seems really nice form and great video explaining the functionality of it. One thing i missed is where/how can we set the e-mail to receive the form data?
Thanks George. This is done through conditional logic, you can pipe answers to specific tags in your marketing automation tool.
great video, custom post with Fluent Form video would be nice
Noted!
Hi, great video, now I am subscribed! Just a question, how can I make questions display once pero question? I hope the question is well made :( Thank you
If I understand, I think you want to use the Section Break element.
Thank you for this amazing video tutorial! And please do create a video about a user registration field and a custom post type inside Fluent Forms
Can you create a quiz that has different results based off their different answers; like typeform?
Hi Dave. Ditto what the previous commenter said. Thanks
Good to hear Peter!
very good very happy :)
Another vote for a video on Fluent Forms and custom post type
Thanks! amazing video.. I am just wondering is it possible to add a drop downcalendar (that s/o can choose date?)
How can I set a recurring payment from Paypal or Stripe. Great super video by the way x

Would recommend Fluent over WP easy pay for a WordPress membership site?

Thanks for this video. Do you know if the password field can be used to unlock the send function (rather than reCAPTCHA)?
Sorry, I'm not sure I understand.

Your insights are great! Does Fluid work well with Elementor? Or, Divi?. Will it allow for recurring payments?
Yes, you can use Fluent Form with any page builder. There is a fluent form styling block from Essential Add-ons too.
Profitable Tools thanks !!

Yes, just change the post status to draft mode.
@@dave-swift beautiful. Thank you.
thanks bro very much do more with payment also
ok can fluent forms connect to google sheets and pull data from a google sheet into ACF to create posts from a google sheet
Fluent Forms can send data to a google sheet, but it can't pull data from a google sheet.
should i just leave the email as the admin email or should i physically type in the email address?
That's up to you and where you want the notifications to go.
Does anyone know if you can do a Hidden Field with a "Unique ID"?
I would also like to know that
Can I add a different Payment plugin apart from Stripe and Paypal
You’re limited to what is supported by the form builder which is Stripe and PayPal right now.
I would like to add pictures to the form.
So that the client can choose and select his favourite picture. Is this possible with fluent forms?
Sure! Just add a Checkbox Field and under options enable "photo". You'll be able to upload a photo for each checkbox option.
Any body knows how to capture the form data on submit so i can send to external api?
Is it possible to add recaptcha with free version of fluent forms???
No, recaptcha is a pro feature.
