I don’t know if it’s just me but in my opinion - the way Kerry Shale voiced Gordon (in the US dub from 2009-2021) and Sir Topham Hatt in the US dub of Thomas and Friends from 2009-2015 kind of almost gave me some Mike Stewart of the Sandpipers and Patrick Pinney’s take on Terrytoons’ Mighty Mouse’s voice vibes (the former especially for when he shouts “Here I Come to Save the Day!” during the Mighty Mouse Playhouse opening titles).
I know, that’s why he was originally cast for the role of Thomas & Spencer in the British dub. So tho his true nationality is Canadian, he is the only Canadian actor in T&F to have a proper British accent (if you count the actors from TATMR, only Eddie & Colm have 99% British accent).

Kerry Shale does a super great job of voicing Gordon because I love his acting on him also Diesel too
It is still unknown why Kerry stopped voicing James and Sir Topham Hatt in the US dub when he still remained as Gordon and Henry.
Maybe he need a bit of a break

Im actually a bit torn about Kerry Shale not being Sir Topham in S19-24. In my option, he is a Much Better VA for Topham
