The engine didn’t quite give it a great reputation like Mattel claims! Stock it could barely get out of its own way! It did have potential though! Live these models! I’m glad to have gotten the black one!
Yeah you are definitely right, it was an underpowered smog motor, but it was the first Big Block super sport seen since the early 70's so that's what kind of made it popular at the time, just the name
