My dad was had a ps2 for at least 20 years and i found it in my closet a couple months ago with downhill domination inside it. I played it and unlocked all the pro riders and 3 extra characters, showed him and he was SPEECHLESS. 😆
This is the ONLY PS2 game which my dad loved and played consistently. We both finished the entire game together. It was fun, intense and tough as well.

How is it that this is honestly the best mountain bike game ever. I mean, how it never got a sequel, or just had another game made by a different developer or something. I mean decenders sucked. Maybe riders republic will be good.
Do check out riders republic. As soon as I booted it up it was the ONLY game to give immediate downhill domination vibes and they stick throughout. It's an absolute blast - and in absence of a downhill domination reboot it's the closest thing we'll get for a while probably.
I played the beta of RR so I went for gold cause I knew it was gonna be a game in my library for years - if u check out gameplay of it and it feels like it's your jam I'd recommend gold maybe - but if u have any doubts whatsoever play it safe and go for basic.

Just in case you can't find where it's answered in the comment section, it's called a quick flip. It works in any direction and it's always hold jump button, press the d-pad direction opposite where you want to spin then the direction you want to spin and hold it, then release jump and you should quick flip in that direction. So to do the standard quick backflip it's jump button (hold) + press up + press down (hold down) + release jump = quick backflip I use the d-pad but I think you can technically do it with the analog stick too. I think it's easier to press up + down on the d-pad than to flick the analog stick really fast though, but that's just preference

If you want to spin anti-clockwise, tap right first and then quickly tap left. Make sure to hold the D-Pad to keep on spinning. Same concepts if you want to do Frontflips and Backflips much faster.

Yeah, I watched some Descenders on UA-cam. In my opinion, the game looks boring. No combat system, tricks and flips are very hard to do and the game depends on checkpoints, which means if you bailed, you have to start again at the nearest checkpoint which could be very far behind. Downhill Domination is hands down the best MTB game ever yet. It doesn't focus too much on realism but it's a fun game to play, that's all there is to it. I'm planning to make a career gameplay for this game again in the near future.

And yeah like I said Descenders is nothing like Downhill but I think if games like these could get more recognition we could hopefully ne moving on the right track for something like Downhill someday. It's wrong for me to judge the game without even buy and play it. I have to try playing it, maybe I'll love it. Who knows, right? @@MrNoob-wc3hv Descenders is a single player game were the maps are procedurally generated so you get a different one everytime. Not much going on really but it is enough to test the waters for a bigger game. As for the video, take as much time as you want! I'm sure it'll be great. :)
