Yeah he done it before against 4th grades. Which was pretty fun to watch. Turns out tug of war has a lot to do with grip. More feet on the ground means more grip and so more power.
@ yeah ofc if you keep both sides equal in weight you get more theoretical grip against the floor from the side with more people. I just thought I would point out that weight is equally as important as grip :) .
Hooper is the ultimate competitor, also extremely high competitive IQ with a flair for the dramatics which makes him not only the best strongman out there today but also the most exciting to watch!
I don’t think he is even close to the most exciting to watch. Right now he clearly is the best, just look at his 2024 performances. However, he is kind of boring to watch because his lead is usually solidified before the final event. So he either does not need to do the final event or only has to get 1 point.
yep retired strongamen can still do that deadlift no doubt eddie and brian would make that look ez mitchell is gonna try and pull 505kg this year that weight was basically nothin for him
I absolutely love your content. And I have to share that I dropped 50kg in 2024, and I am excited to see myself in the mirror after I drop another 10kg. I did it without any restrictive diet, just by following meal plan on Onlymeal. I also started to make 5k steps per day and I drink at least 15 glasses of water per day. Last five months, I started to exercise 4 times per week and I think that in 2025 I will be able to achieve the best shape of my life.
Dear stan: you probably won't even see this comment, but I wanted to let you know that you don't have to put money on the line for us to watch your videos. We just like what you're doing and the type of videos you make
I just realised you have 8M subscribers :O Huge respect and congratulation to all of you, the hard work and dedication you guys put into this channel and the amazing contents, unbearable challenges. I still remember when the channel had like 100k even a bit less than that.
Sure genetics and stuff play a big part, but Mitch is an extremely competetive person and this shows it. And sure yeah, pretty intelligent and good at finding an approach to things.
Some of these challenges really prove how even though Mitch is the WSM, nobody is completely perfect when it comes to fitness, all of us have our strengths and weaknesses.
Browney, thank you for everything you do to inspire me through my workout journey. I’ve watched your videos for quite some time and I love ALL your videos. Thank you so much man. I’m literally your BIGGEST fan. Keep going with these funny inspirational workout videos!😎😀
Ripping a phone book in half is a party trick. You press the pages together so it so it formes a triangle in the center and then you apply pressure on the base of the triangle with your thumb so that it starts ripping one page at a time and then start pulling. It's all technique and doesn't require that much strength
Mitch I'm surprised it took so long on the phone book, figured that would be something most strong men would learn the technique to as a party trick when starting out.
Respectfully Mitchell hooper is the second strongest. According to recent World's Strongest Man competitions, Tom Stoltman is considered stronger than Mitchell Hooper as Stoltman has won the title multiple times, including the most recent 2024 competition, with Hooper finishing in second place. Mitchell's title was 2023 and considering that this is 2025 he is 2nd place.
Mitch won the 2023 'worlds strongest man'. Technically Tom Stoltman is worlds strongest man right now but Mitch won every other major strongman competition last year including the 'strongest man on earth' (which is arguably a better indicator of the 'strongest man'). People like Eddie Hall still call themselves worlds strongest man despite winning many years ago, but who wouldn't!
because the contest is held every year and people who have done it once never stop using the title. Mitch though is currently dominating every strongman event so he is quite deserving of the title
What we learned is that Mitchell Hooper might have won a competition called The World’s Strongest Man Competition, but he is clearly far from being the strongest man in the world.
Y’all need to go to an arm wrestling event and see how many pro arm wrestlers can do this chair thing since they train those oddball muscles involved in it

Yeah he done it before against 4th grades. Which was pretty fun to watch. Turns out tug of war has a lot to do with grip. More feet on the ground means more grip and so more power.
@@mrsensei8878 I would also say weight is important too. More weight to pull, harder it gets to pull.
Not to mention an awesome guy!
@jpjukes
Normally same weight with more feet would win. Ofcourse Mitch is an anomaly because he is world strongest.
@ yeah ofc if you keep both sides equal in weight you get more theoretical grip against the floor from the side with more people. I just thought I would point out that weight is equally as important as grip :) .

I get your point but he needs to be overenthousiastic because if he had no reaction the vid would be boring

Holding it like Thor's Hammer!
He has to make it look believable
he had to hold back or else the strongest guy will get humbled quickly
Actually Captain America should be the owner of this channel not browney

@@BaldiIsHere32 This literally makes no sense.
Captain America trying to not embarrass "the strongest man" by holding back.
Captain America not using all of his strength 🗿
In tug of war Mitchell's strength is heavily capped by the grip his two feet can provide, so smart for him to be conservative.
Ripping a phone book is easy, just requires the right technique.
No💀
