i've been using this video for almost two years to fall asleep to every night. i was homeless for part of last year, and even when i was struggling the most, i was at least able to sleep at some point most nights. thanks for helping me keep some sanity during the worst months of my life and allowing me to keep some consistency. now i play this on two speakers and surround myself in thundered bliss. oh, and i play this for my dog too when i have to leave him for work.
I wish I had known about these vids when I was homeless/car living...woo boy! Tryna sleep in wally world parking lot is rough sometimes! Luckily I did grow accustomed to wearing ear plugs while sleeping on an aircraft carrier. The other cool thing is it helps keep track of how long you slept, if you don't tend to look at the clock.
I do hope you are safe and well. Being homeless is an experience. It's hard to fathom unless you've been through it. And it's something I pray no one has to go through, but so many do. And that shouldn't be especially here in America. God bless you all & stay safe. 🤗
My daddy raised me on Tolkien’s works. He’s gone now and I’m too old for anyone to read to me at night. And I miss him (and those memories) so much. Any ambient sleep soundtrack you’d be willing to do for any of Tolkien’s realms would be like a gift from Dad. Thank you for this. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'd read to you. You're never too old to be read to. Those memories is what makes your Dad live within you. Your Dad is never gone as long as he lives in your head. I miss my Mom too but she pops up all the time. :) It's Amazing how humans can live through things more than once through memory, I mean those are real feelings you are provoking when you remember those memories. Memories actually release the same chemicals into our body and mind when we re-live things through our brain. Um I'm not sure if I'm making sense, Sorry you miss your Dad. Hey buddy, I’m really really sorry. Holy shit. That’s insane. I know it’s not the same, but my cousin fell off a cliff when I was 10 and he was 17. I was driving home with my mom from volleyball practice when I heard the news. It’s absolutely wild. I couldn’t believe it til I saw him. I feel like after events like this, we are always different. I went through the stages of grief over years and eventually got to where I didn’t cry very often but it sticks with you. These kinds of things change you. You can be okay out the other end but you are still different. I’m not sure what you believe, but I am sending all the hugs and good energy and prayers and just everything for every option towards you. Hug from a stranger 🙆🏼♀️
