Perfect timing.. I just showed my son this..! He powered down his ps4 right away and went down in the garage to work on our Buick GS race car project 😁👍
Ah yes starting low and taking about HP per lb, yes thanks for showing this, I always tune on lowest boost i can get, make it happy then I can see my delta and when to quit and what to expect! Great job guys
This whole build is so awesome and resonates with me personally because I have a fox. You guys make it look so simple to make an 8second car, coyote swap no less. Can't wait to see it at the track!
@Doug Cook and all the Motion team, I watched the mustang and nova make a few passes yesterday and I must say, especially with the 8 days, that you guys did a kick ass job on it!! Saw it go 9.04(?), and that was Sat. A.M, q2. I'm sure it'll see 8's and meet your goals! Just wanted to say you guys are truly impressive, both with cars and as a business!
Glad you guys dedicated a video to how dyno tuning works; baby steps. You don't just throw the car together and abracadabra, it takes LOTS of time and pulls to get it dialed in. It's not cheap, but it's multiple times cheaper than trying to do it live and risking a motor (or worse.)
Need to get Cleeter and Cooper to shout out your youtube on their channels. I've really enjoyed watching all your videos, whether it's a build or a tech Tuesday, you do a great job. Specifically, "World's Best Dad" does a great job too!
kinda wonder if it wasn’t having back pressure issues up high. sometimes an issue with some of the coyote cars with smaller turbos. good luck on hitting 8’s guys. car looks like it should be fun.
So happy its not a dam ls swap lol that things makes some power 👀👍😁 an of you use a hub dyno. Do you lose some of the power numbers after you put the tire on. Or is it not that much of a difference.
Nice job, you guys should do a series like this every year. Build a new chassis from the bottom up. I was really looking forward to seeing each days progress, good luck at fl2k
You really show how with enough people that can put parts on a car, enough credit card numbers... Oh and a open door policy to a performance parts suppler that ANY body can make a "race car".. you guys really give inspiration to the average Joe that they to can do the same with a ass load of cash and people to turn a wrench..

Hey guys what’s the name of the switch that takes the fuel pump from 30 percent to full on that u guys were talking about hooking it in to the co2 controller
@Doug and Motion, what size turbo is that in there? I'm looking to do a single in my 4th gen f body, but I think I wanna keep a/c, so I have to use a to flanged turbo, from what I was told by Huron Speed. If one of you can, hit me up on F.B messenger @Josh Wynn. Also, does Haltech make a ecu that'll work for G.M, and how street friendly would it be? Thanks guys!
@@adamdodsy84 woulda been much better with a boss 302 intake for flow and for strength but very cool set up none the less..I live in stupid ass California so a turbo was off the table for my street car.
It was a hood clearance issue I believe that made them go with the Gen 1. A Gen3 or Boss would definitely help up top but I think they would need to drop the kmember or run a different hood.
U gotta Jack it up and put the scales under the tires.. it's easier on the equipment guys come on now I thought yall were professional!!?? Lol car is a nice "thrown together" unit for sure!

Coyote FTW! glad to see you guys do a coyote vs the LS norm!
Doug and James are like brothers lol
If they started a UA-cam channel I'd watch it
What? Their not?
Beavis and butthead grown up lol.
Rev that thing out! Coyote engines don’t want to be under 6k. Stock motor cars are being tuned to 8k+ on e85. Like James said, it sings up top
I’m officially petitioning for this setup in Wally!!!!
830whp and 2800 with driver is eassyyyy low 8s on my dyno
Is the car really that light? I didn’t watch all the videos. Calculator I looked up said 8.70’s ET with 2800 lb race wright and 830 RWHP.
Australian boost control ,ECU and dyno love it
You're not using the famous James Taal tune up of 40psi, 40°, a 500 shot and eleventy two hundred red line? Lol
irunolds James...Get your nitrous bottle!
Dang, that's sweet! I like how you LS guys are digging the coyote ..makes more unity in the world!..lol. Definitely my favorite build.
8’s in 8
The master has spoken. Good to see ya here.
"We're in Florida everything makes more power"... Jackstand Jimmy
Lol jack stand jimmy 🤣
Great job! I still cannot believe you made the deadline. Hope you get in the 8's.
all that power and still idles showroom smooth modern tech is amazing
That's what I like about coyote engine, no need to replace cylinder heads or cam. Total SLEEPER combo.
The computer guy looks like a grown McLovin...sounds like him also!
James making a cameo in everyone's videos.
That Haltech remote tuning is sweet
Just crazy how those coyotes come from the factory with forged internals and can handle that much power.
I use Shellac gasket compound on the intercooler piping. No more pipes blowing off.

Thanks Josh! Appreciate you brother
Hell yeahh brother, what a morning delicious coffee and a video from the guys at Motion yeee yeeee
Agreed 👍 Barry torres!!
That little coyote is going to rip tader chip.
Loving the FSM shirt :-)
Enjoyed watching the build up videos
.
She's a ripper! Nice car for sure.

That's pretty good horsepower good luck be safe
3:34 james dad bod coming in strong
I watch that guys channel. the guy tuning the car he got a little Mazda or something with a lt 5.3 in it cool build 👍🏻
You young fellas continue to blow my mind. Keep on rocking!!!!!
My favorite series yet! Love that you guys are working with a different platform. Cant wait 2 see it run and see the entire idea come to life.
I'm heading out to Bradenton Motorsports park tomorrow! Hopefully you guys are still running on Sunday!

Doug is always worried about when they get to go eat.
Loving the coyote build! Good luck and can't wait to see more of this in the future 🙌

Very impressive! Can't wait to see it make a pass!

Lotta pressure being the guy in the seat.
Love it when that heavy outro music hits! Always have to wait for it 🔥🤘🔥🎸🔥

Been waiting an checking for this upload for dayzzz!!
NO LS SWAP!!
The day I’ve been waiting on since the jump
James is the go to guy! Great Video the car is awesome!!!
Great job guys
WOW! Great job on the build!
I'm really surprised James didn't come back with a big ol'bottle of NOS
Good luck on the dyno!
I think y'all pulled it off.
Good luck at the track!
I love Doug reppin the Blasphemy shirt!!🤘👌✌️😉🇺🇸🇺🇸🏁🏁
Final round=> Last Day of Race Week
Must have a serious amount of back pressure most coyotes should be over 1000hp on 21 lbs of boost.
Boost isn’t the same hp level on every turbo. That’s not a fair comparison. This turbo simply won’t make 1000 hp on almost any combo
Get the toolbox James!!
Congrats.
Love the videos guys. Keep it up! Goodluck at FL2K be safe
"That tire is pimp" - Jackstand Jimmy
I would hope it would go 8s since 1000lb heavier mustang just went 7.90s on the stock engine.
Good video!!
Lovin' this build!
YES!!
On Ethanol she likes that timing boys!!
Today's the day!! Let's get it!!
Why didn't you guys use the Boss or Shelby IM? 7500 should be a standard, beyond for built motors
Sounds good
Street car joe !!!!! Welcome to the dark side 😎👌🏾
2018 Mustang gt intake manifold would gain 50whp. Even though it may not fit under a stock hood.
Awesome! Go get em!

🤣
Now time to ditch that gen1 intake manifold to keep it from laying over on the top end.
Jackstand!!!
Funny on how Cleetus has a 427 in stock no waiting...
Which car is it going in though?

Why no fl2k video yet!!!!!!!
I didn't know it had a baby turbski on her!
rad ride =)
So what was the problem with starting the car???
Slap a T6 Borg in there with a big ass back housing on it 👍
Brent is a Haltech guy, he should be able to help if you need it?
Im always sketch about these hub dynos. Causd it may be perfect with no slip but when the rubber hits the track will it hold?
I'll bet the first full pass it runs a low 9. 9.2-9.1 is what I think.
Where is your nitrous bottle james?
He went to the dark side. He turboed the 240. Cleetus was a bad influence. LOL! :-)
Hey guys what’s the name of the switch that takes the fuel pump from 30 percent to full on that u guys were talking about hooking it in to the co2 controller
What size turbo???
Coyotes flow more air then 5.3s.. that's why i said you will have back peessure issues..
How many degrees of timing @ 833 hp?
@Doug and Motion, what size turbo is that in there? I'm looking to do a single in my 4th gen f body, but I think I wanna keep a/c, so I have to use a to flanged turbo, from what I was told by Huron Speed. If one of you can, hit me up on F.B messenger @Josh Wynn.

First ! Good luck guys
McFarland tuning???
probably much better !
This is what we all want to see, James free without clitus interrupting every 6 secs to say hell yea brother
What gen coyote is that?
I believe it's a gen2 with a gen1 intake
@@adamdodsy84 woulda been much better with a boss 302 intake for flow and for strength but very cool set up none the less..I live in stupid ass California so a turbo was off the table for my street car.

Here
Why the name El Toro?
I think a reference to staying on a bull for 8 seconds.... 8 seconds is the goal for the car...
@@fopeezy3097 Ok, thanks. Was just wondering.
Mustang, Fox, Coyote and a Bull.
It's an animal. Haha
👍👍🇨🇱
Lol

You are supposed to roll on to scales. Independent front will push out on the scales if you jack it up and that is hard on equipment
@@stonyrun that's the way we do it with dirt cars
Talk to much and don't show them working cars
