I love these videos, especially that your pace is slow enough to comprehend but not so slow or repetitive that it's annoying. Keep it up! I've memorized a-e so far on morse code thanks to your video! Once I can comprehend and repeat the test at the end then I'll move on to video 2.
Still don't know how to access a digital repeater. Do you need tone? what mode do you use on fusion? dn vw? I cannot find an explanation starting from scratch for someone completely new to c4fm
Ali, thanks for the comment lets see if we can help you. If you are accessing a digital repeater there is no CTCSS required. On all repeaters you will program the input and output frequency. Input for your transmitter to get into the repeater and output for you to hear the repeater. On a DMR repeater you need the colour code of the repeater and the time slot of the talk group you require. On DStar you simply put in the repeater callsign as shown in my video on DStar. On C4FM Fusion repeaters you transmit on DN (Digital Narrow). No need for CTCSS or tone. Hope that helps. I will do a video when I get my computer back working to give more detail. Keith

Good explanation Keith 👍👏👏
Thanks Mark that’s great feedback.
Great videos that explain it well. A video on 'hotspots' would be nice. Thanks !
Thanks for the nice comment. What type of video would you like about hotspots?
