And Charlie's is not the best restaurant in Nairobi it depends what you want to eat & the list is endless eg. CJ's that's one of the most serious you find food even past 10 pm even on weekends if covid ,19 ends the choices are endless and you'll never hear "hakuna imeisha " cmon miss Trudy.

@@diskitube Not really. The British actually did the opposite. Plundered the land and its resources. Also most of what you see was built after 1963 when the brits left.
@@diskitube Stop day dreaming. Almost all these buildings you see in Nairobi were erected between 2001-2019 and most of them are government buildings. You can even see cranes still working on new buildings. Kenya got it's independence in 1963 and by then Nairobi used to be a small administration town. Mombasa was the biggest City in Kenya at the time Europeans exited Kenya. Today, Nairobi has 3 CBDs and this one you are seeing in the video is known as the OLD CBD. I dont know if you see Westlands and Upperhill you'll start saying it's Dubai. Travel and know these places and stop relying on white media.

The part about KICC being the tallest in Nairobi...that was back in 1997. There must be 10 other buildings taller than KICC now. Tallest by floor count is 43 floor GTC in Westlands.
On a side note, they are now working on the foundation for a 70 floor building called the Pinnacle which will be Africas tallest building. Will be located in the Upperhill district. A building tall enough to see mount kilimanjaro in Tanzania when complete.

Just a slight correction, the building you pointed at, KICC is actually the 4th tallest building. The tallest is Britam Tower (660ft ) followed by UAP tower(535ft) then Times Tower(459ft). And while Charlie's Bistro is the most populous high end restaurant within the Central Business District (CBD), it would be fallacious to call it the best restaurant in Nairobi. Nairobi is far more than just the CBD.
Nairobi is definitely more developed than Abuja and Lagos. The city is quite clean too. See how clean and organised their CBD is. Robots or traffic lights are working. Am happy someone is finally putting Nairobi in the map. Good job Tayo✌❤

The tallest building in the Nairobi is the new 32-storey, 200 metres (660 ft) Britam Towers. The second-tallest building in the city is the 33-storey, 163 metres (535 ft) UAP Tower. The most recent skyscrapers to be constructed are Prism Tower, Le'Mac and FCB Mirhab Tower.
KICC used to be but not anymore
KICC is no longer the tallest in Nairobi. It was a decade or two a go.

That is not the tallest building in Nairobi. The tallest is 200 meters (BRITAM TOWER), the building you visited (KICC) is 105 meters.
