dude! your content! especially the last 3 lenses were top notch quality! def, more EOS R videos and you’ll get a mad amount of subs in the next few months! i’d be interested in seeing a What’s In My Camera Bag video! reviews of current lenses you have as well!
Interesting lens. You're right the 2x factor gives it extra reach. I'm considering to get me one. LAOWA has also a 4x lens. But that is really only to use for macro. Can this lens also used as een portrait or short telefocus lens?
great point Kersten! Yes this lens can be used to shoot portrait also! Let me know if you're interested in seeing this lens in portrait or short telefocus mode 🙂
I was thinking about buying this. I like focus peeking with manual lenses, believe it or not i feel more confident seeing my subject glow red than i do the cameras AF. I might give this a try.
It's a great lens. I wouldn't describe it as "better" than the Canon. The Canon has IS, and AF, and complete weather sealing, not to mention it's a hard lens to beat in terms of optical quality.. The Laowa has greater reach, and an all metal body with superb optics. Just keep in mind that higher magnification=less working aperture. So with the Laowa, I usually find myself using more continuous light sources. They are each great in their own right.

Is this better than the Tamron 90mm
I've never tried the Tamron 90mm but its 1:1 maginfication. I like the 2:1 magnification from the Laowa :)
Nice video and thanks for the shout out :)

I also prefer manual focus on macro lens lots of the time. You should give it a try it's a great lens!
@@kienobimedia so i went with the 150mm f2.8 sigma macro. Just a more trusted brand for me. I just hate adapting it to my R
