The Penny Candle // Science Demo

- A fire is actually a chemical reaction. In this science demo we make an "uncanny candle," a sort of non-traditional flame, using some highly unusual and inadvisable fuel. (Don't try this at home). Watch a chemical reaction that lights up one lucky penny - you can even see it in the dark!

I love these videos please keep them going
I wanna say that the chemical reaction of both is that the candle is giving off the flame while the penny in the acetone inverts it? Making the flame invisible that's why you see it red and not red sorta like a waving motion same as the flame as if it were visible.
That's why it was called the penny candle?
That’s incredible!
I'd like to know more about that candle with the giant flame in the beginning of the episode please.
It’s probably the fire tornado video from the DragonCon playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLmY_5XtNPIaMfZXZ1cmgx4Waf1simmijB.html
@@NickHouseholder not the tornado, there are 3 candles and 1 has a giant flame in it, almost like a propane flame
@@NickHouseholder the middle candle at 0:40
@@philipehit4787 The house burner 5000.
i love your content i hope you end up with more subs than pewdiepie
Captions cover the view of the science.
I will unfortunately be trying these at home.
