Mu Chan I thought the exact same thing. I actually had to pause the video and think about how they must feel if they were sitting down today watching this video. Do you think they think about when Pete said that, and how they are actually still doing this ten years later? I wonder.
I wonder if Fall Out Boy ever thought that the little toddlers and kids at that time would grow up and listen to these same tunes. I was three when TTTYG released, twelve years later, fifteen year old me searches it up on UA-cam. I love FOB so much. It's remarkable how they went from crazy teenagers playing basement shows to 30-year old dads that people make memes after playing sold out arenas.
I love how they're so proud about what they've done in life so far. This was made in 2004, From Under The Cork Tree wasn't even out yet, they had no idea that they'd be as popular as they are today. I really want to see their reaction to this as they are nowadays. I'm so proud of them myself
It's crazy how 11 years later they would mean the world to millions of people around the globe. myself included. god i'm so glad pete, patrick, joe and andy met each other. they're the reason why i smile every single day. i wish i could personally tell them thank you one day
it's crazy, isn't it? Every single thing and situation that happened which made them met each other.. imagine Joe never went to the store where Patrick used to work or Patrick hasn't even worked there.. soo many things omg
here they were. with just a dream. playing in basements. now. about to go on tour with there idols, Green Day and weezer. God I love them. We are proud of you guys❤️
I'm not sure how I can have so much nostalgia for an era I had zero live-through experience myself, but I guess it all goes back to how much I love these nerds from Illinois
"I hope I'm still doing this in 10 years" PETE MY SWEET SUMMER CHILD Im so proud of my boys even though I wasn't a fan from the start (cuz I was 2 turning 3) but I would do anything so I could've grown up with them :(
I don't even know what I would do without their them, its not even just the music but watching interviews from them and just videos about them makes me happy in a way but nothing else really can, fall out boy is my everything.♡
Indigo Lash This means even more to me now since I just went to my first FOB concert last night at Wintour, and I wouldn't trade that experience for the world. It was my first concert ever and I'm so thankful that FOB is still here to put on such a show.
"My name is Pete I play bass" "I'm Patrick I play guitar..and sing" "my name is Joe trohman..er...I'm 23..And er I play the strings" "my name is Andrew Hurley and I play the drums" PRECIOUS BEANS MUST PROTECT
they wanted to make music like green day. now they’re touring with green day. 2004 fall out boy would be so mind blown if they were able to see their success now.
me too what state do you live in I live in new Jersey maybe we can be friends and go to Fall Out Boy concerts together I'm going to one in Wyoming on June or July 22
Thank you for uploading this... it's hard to believe how long ago this was. Music was really great around this time, when "emo" "punk" was fun, and you didn't have to dress like Adam Lambert or a scene girl to be cool..
my freind asked me to come over after school and I said I'm sorry I'm busy her:by busy you mean lay in bed and watch videos on how fall out boy formed me: "_"
if only these boys knew how big theyd get when there next album comes out i wish i was a teen around this time so i could have gotten to see fall out boy during these gigs but atleast i get to see them this march, im so unbelievably excited!! my friends r annoyed with how much i talk about it lmao
This is so inspirational especially for me because this is what I want to do. It probably won't happen but I want a band and I want to do...well this. Fall Out Boy are my absolute icons and I love them. Hopefully one day I'll be as big as FOB and if not I hope I change at least one person's life (Edit) And can I just say how absolutely adorable Patrick looks?!
When they talked about their accident I immediately looked at the cover of the limited edition "black clouds and underdogs" from under the cork tree and cried ; - ; I love them so much wtf
I wish I was with them from the beginning although when you think about it there is a small downside to be with them from the beginning I don't know if I could handle the break
pete: I play bass
patrick: I play guitar and sing
andy:I play drums
joe: I'm 33
He's still not even 33 yet lol
he is now lmao
MyChemical_FallOut_AtTheDisco Fan heh
I cried when Pete said "I hope I'm still doing this in ten years." And here we are ten years later
Mu Chan the tEARS-
Do u hear that. It's the sound of my proud sobs
Mu Chan I thought the exact same thing. I actually had to pause the video and think about how they must feel if they were sitting down today watching this video. Do you think they think about when Pete said that, and how they are actually still doing this ten years later? I wonder.
Mu Chan and now they just went on one small Japan tour

Take This To Your Grave is exactly what Pete describes it as: A record that you don't skip any tracks on, you just let it play and listen.

Damn. Imagine if something had happened to them in that van. God damn. Things would be pretty different. I don't think I would be here without them.
***** Yeah... and Patrick actually was bleeding on the side of his face. It would've been terrible if something worse happened.
Well they got into a van accident but luckily they were all fine

The sober history of Fall Out Boy. Just a working title.
10+ years later and they're one of the biggest pop punk bands in the world. (':
Patrick with a buzz cut is so adorable
"I hope I'm still doing this in ten years" And here we are. More than ten years later, they're still going strong and have come so far
"I hope I'm still doing this in 10 years" PETE IM GONNA CRY

Happy to say I've been a fan since Take This To Your Grave all the way up to the new stuff, I miss these days but I still get down to Fall Out Boy!
People should start dressing like that again.

ahh i love how the emo legacy lives on
They're having so much fun I wish I coulda been at an early show
Did Disney Pixar get the inspiration for Tadashi (Hiro's big bro in big hero 6) from Patrick because they are wearing the same FRICKIN OUTFIT
"And I screamed in my car."
The mental image I have of Andy Hurley screaming while sitting in his car is so precious.

living in Illinois all my life and being 2 in 2001 just hurts. i would kill to see them like this again. chicago shows are always hype as hell.
the part that's really good about it is there happy where they are and their career at that point in time just a year before they actually made it big
11 years I've followed them. Whhhooooaaaa. They have come so far. 😭❤
Holy sheeeett, i haven't seen much of this foodage before! Thnx for sharing.
lol Pete said: "when we started off we were the worst band ever" I was like lol everyone starts from somewhere
"I had a few discs in my collection that I didn't skip a single track and I wanted this to be that"
I never skip over any of Take This To Your Grave
Thanks for putting this up. Love to look back at this era.
I love how I wasn't even alive when tttyg was released and now I listen to it every day
I was 14 when they formed. They were my teenage years and are my "adultness" now haha. Loved them then and still love them now!
They’re so full of hope it makes me sob
I find it funny that Joe is actually gonna be 33 this year
Did anyone else start tearing up when they were talking about the accident?
I love that their still going!! 🥰 even in 2021

I think andy is still in racetraitor which is awesome. Love that dudes drumming. And it reminds me a lot of like the bridge 9 scene around boston

ok WHY did no one tell me Patrick shaved his head at the beginning of the band
TTTYG is by far my favourite album so it kinda sucks that I can only listen to it through CD because it's not available in the UK
Rip the CD to your computer and then send or copy the files to your phone
It's on spotify now
Thanks now I know how to start a band, hopefully one day I’ll open for fall out boy
