I will happily listen to 2 or 3 hour podcasts. I would honestly prefer that over the shorter videos. I'm here for the information and to learn. As long as their is 2 to 3 hours worth of information in those videos, keep em coming! I will listen to every minute.
I'm new here but I absolutely LOVE how you balance an assertive, dominant presence with a compassionate, polite, kind hearted approach. At the markets, you are assertive and direct yet polite and building those vital connections. You are helping push me along in my new reselling journey and I'm eternally grateful!
@@technsports man, you have already made me SO much money! I'm teaching my 10 yr old how to run a small business and we listen to you every night and write down your bolos ❤️ This is insanely invaluable!
Man it’s fun watching Isiah working it out in his mind over the years and one day it’s just gonna click and this kids gonna be unstoppable. Man I wish I had his mindset 15 years ago. 😅
With time he will be amazing, his young mind is running fast looking at things from several different angles - that will slow and stream line the older he gets.

Absolutely awesome! I have to join your calls this week. I have been doing eBay 19 years but just selling my stuff. I am doing it full time now. This was so helpful to think through and now have an opportunity to understand how to build my knowledge base, source better and list more effectively. By the way, I don’t watch most of the reseller channel but listen like a podcast. I don’t listen to podcast. Only UA-cam. So I prefer long form. I just did my grocery shopping and put everything away while listening to you guys. I only made sure to look at the poly bags
Yes, I listen in the background as I work, so if there is more to discuss and you want to run a longer podcast, I would listen to the whole thing every time
🔥🔥🔥great convo ! Wow. “Sourcing can be a liability for the business, listing can never be a liability for the business”. One comment to Isaiah’s argument: listing can be a liability if your getting higher veros, returns, defects 😬 - with respect master tech 😁

@@technsports To name a few...Opportunity cost, barrier to entry, scale the business. I listen to you and it bring me back to my class. Never sell yourself short because you didn't attend college either...you are mastering business standards with the best of em.
Get someone to do garage sales or fire sales for the lower priced items you cherry picked out of sourced items you do not list. Or, donate with receipts for business expense deduction. Do not just throw out or pile up in a corner creating stress and less space. Students will appreciate the money you give them for a Saturday or Sunday garage sale.
Great podcast. I’m a fan of the longer podcast. 4-5 hours would be great while working. I think listing is more important for me since it’s the job I dread the most. Sourcing is the most fun.
Really enjoy the longer podcast guys. This was a good one.I would actually agree with Isaiah on this one- I think sourcing is the most important part. If you have the knowledge and access to source low cost quality inventory you can always find resellers who will buy the inventory from you. I believe tech has mentioned previously that the people who source for hime make upwards of $250k/year just sourcing and selling to him. No ebay listing required. I think if you source quality stuff you can always wholesale to other resellers therefor bypassing ebay listing. Knowledge of brands, coupled with access to low cost quality inventory, is a greater skill than listing an item on ebay IMO. Again, excellent podcast guys!
Ok last comment 😂 The last part of the podcast was so good. Great questions from Isaiah! Great answers from you 💯. If things don’t come to us, we don’t keep waiting or give up, we just gotta go get it. That really applies to anything with life. Early bird gets the worm. Sometimes that worm is 3-6 hours away. Also, the part about vendor person relationships. Great conversation about that. That just shows how disciplined you are about sticking to what is best for your business, pockets, and business metrics. You stick to your guns and do not waiver. You’re kind, but you don’t bend. You don’t negotiate. Taking the long route out with a cart full of stuff is brilliant 😂 and adding a huge smile and greeting sellers with prices too high on your way out 😂. The sellers always have to attract the buyers. Ain’t nothing selling if nobody is buying. That part about who has the power is spot on and great that you said that. But throughout your responses in this last part. I feel like the underlying message is you have to be disciplined and keep your eye on the prize and pick up stuff that meets your metrics and fits your pockets. Great video Tech and Isaiah! I learned a lot. 🙏💯👊
Definately! I'm binging myself on podcast everyday no matter how long it is. ! Listing everyday is my priorty second is the sourcing. I source twice a week and list daily. I buy pallet and bins too.
I live in KC and we have a bunch of thrifts. I am able to find more stuff than I can afford right now. Sometimes I get lucky and it is still there when I go back...sometimes on half price!!!
I can listen to a conversation between you and Isaiah for a few hours. Thank you for the podcast, I got a lot of great tips and ideas that I will apply. Thank you both .
I love that he acknowledges that postal workers are part of the team!! SO vital! Connections, relationships, networking etc. is absolutely EVERY where, in every one! Hone it, own it and don't sleep on the connection piece!
1:27:45 Heck yeah tech im like a sponge i soak everything up the saying you cant teach and old dog new tricks is 100% wrong been doing this 25 years and i learn something new each day it only makes you better as a reseller does not hurt to learn more i learn a little from this person a little from that person and i roll it up into a ball and make it my own. so if you go 2 hours 3 hours ill watch for sure!
Thank you so much!! I learned a lot!! I’m a hoarder lol 2 storage units full 10x20 and I sell my good stuff on live shows for $4 hoping to make enough for my bills. I show 200 new used pieces 4 days a week and source 1 day a week. Usually 2-3 car loads. I believe I just have to list but it’s way too much. I’m going to make myself accountable except on sourcing day!!
I'm all for the longer form. I listen to your podcast while I'm driving to work or while I'm working the side hustle in the garage. I love hearing all the in-depth conversation and feel like I'm getting great information to set me up for going full time in a few years. Thanks for all that you do Tech!
Such a great show! Love how Tech let him speak his mind then told him he was wrong but showed him how to be better. Legendary! And to see Isiah's growth from the last podcast is amazing as well. These podcasts are SO motivating and great for my business! Thank you both!
55:25 100% tech! you will just do more work because those items might not move as QUICK so you will need more items then someone that only sources high sell through rate items and there is nothing wrong with that model either Low sell through but HIGH volume more work. I'm a true 100% believer in the fact the More you list the more you will sell its the law of averages and like you said they don't have to be the BEST items but having better items helps the item sell more quickly you have stated a few times and i agree with you 100% EVERY item has a price point at which it will sell (meaning a price at which it will sell NO matter if it is a low STR or a High STR rate item) its just finding that price point that is sometimes tricky this is why Keeping Margins as close to 0 as possible (so you can drop prices and still make profit) is so important when it comes to buying inventory
Sourcing is easy, I source and find amazing stuff all the time, almost abundant. That's not the problem. The problem is the processing and the way i make more money is by tweaking the processing process. The more i can process and the faster the more I make. Processing is more important.
Will I watch longer content? With THIS channel YES! Your information and conversation is REAL!! You answer questions no matter what it is, and you also provide so much knowledge it’s insane!!! So why would I not watch longer content on this channel… is the real question.
Thank you both for the clarification its ok to buy lower profit items which are easy to get if you are listing them-in the meantime increasing brand knowledge so I can get the higher profit items when I see them. Love the 2 hour podcasts.
Longer. Longer, because is the only way to let an idea develop. Some guest need time to warm up. Then the real gold starts to come out. Thank you both. Great podcast.
56:49 i do agree with Isaiah here in the fact that yes it is harder (im an everything seller so ill sell anything i can make a profit on) and it is a grind but you need to love the grind and i feel diong this for 25 years full time it has only made me a better reseller overall (meaning sourcing, listing, Processing the whole 9 yards) as to sellers who might want to do less but make as much as they can (i look at it as kinda the easy way out) i believe wholeheartly You only get out of your business what you put into it and that is why many resellers are no quitting they get use to the 2020 or covid era way and we are 100% out of the covid ear and its going back to how it was Pre Covid that you do have to grind at this to make it work and 99.9% do not want to grind at this. the Only wants that want to grind at this are the ones that REALLY love reselling. I have no issues with someone that only wants to make $50 on a $10 item (buy cost) then sell 10 $5 items to make the same amount but doing that work does teach you how to be a Great reseller i truly believe there is no cookie cutter way to do reselling Each reseller is 100% different and what works for one might not work for another and hey that is 100% okay
30:36 100% tech to them (I'm included in that group) its a value, its worth its weight in gold. someone pointed out on someone else YT video in the comments its not always about Monetary value that some value there time with there family over making more money
36:13 100% tech its all about the volume if you can sell 3000 and get half of what you make on the 250 pieces you would be a fool not to switch to that model! especially if doing it in volume takes less of your time then the 250 items a day on ebay its a no brainer because if your dong 250 items x $25 that's $6250 per day if you sell 3000 pieces of clothing in one shot for lets say $10 that's $30,000 (id say that is on the higher end for wholesale) but even if you did 3000 pieces x $5 that's $15,000 for every person that buys from you wholesale! i can be a very beautiful model for a business
I like the longer. This episode was a mix on online selling 101 and PHD level. To me it looks like Isiah has gained knowledge and confidence since his first interview! The journey can feel too long at times. Step by step to progress!
Thank you Tech and @Isaiah_tmn another great episode with lots to take in. I would definitely watch longer episodes. So much value. I post my shoes in Shoe boxes mainly. Have only sent flip flops or Birkenstock beach Sandals in polymailers. Sending Gucci, Chanel and Prada in Polymailers when a buyer has special £250 is not a good look for me. I also cross list and some of other platforms say you need to send items in boxes, and if stuff gets damaged in transit they won't refund you. The post office and other couriers are brutal throwing stuff on the floor, on conveyor belts etc. Loved the example of how to get the vendor at the flea market to reduce her price 😂😂😂 Least resistance all the way. What if you were to buy one item for the week that would save you listing for the whole week because of the profit margin?
Tech I do that too I fell my bag and walk by the people that wouldn't make a deal with me and then they almost chase me down the next week for my money! lol
Ok! Over halfway comment now lol. So good! Definitely hit a sweet spot in the conversation and it got exciting 😂. You let Isaiah speak his piece and even paused a little to see if he’s finished or not then you said “I’m respectfully going to tell you that you’re wrong” 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Got both me and Isaiah worked up hahahahah. I’m really enjoying this podcast with you both. 😂

Great discussion today! I love longer form videos. It gives more time for ideas to be discussed out loud and worked through. Thank you.
Appreciate that. I agree. Good point. Thank you!
Sourcing is easy, I source and find amazing stuff all the time, almost abundant. That's not the problem. The problem is the processing and the way i make more money is by tweaking the processing process. The more i can process and the faster the more I make. Processing is more important.
💸💸💸💸. Find whatever you want. Got to get it up!
@@technsports Exactly!
Listing is more valuable than sourcing, because buyers won’t come knocking at your door asking to sell them stuff from your death pile 😂
Lol! Haven't knocked yet!
Will I watch longer content? With THIS channel YES! Your information and conversation is REAL!! You answer questions no matter what it is, and you also provide so much knowledge it’s insane!!! So why would I not watch longer content on this channel… is the real question.
Appreciate that! Thank you. I'm glad you are finding value in the videos. Mission accomplished
Thank you both for the clarification its ok to buy lower profit items which are easy to get if you are listing them-in the meantime increasing brand knowledge so I can get the higher profit items when I see them. Love the 2 hour podcasts.
Got to do the best you can today until you can do better
22:30 - pure gold! Love you guys ❤😊

ooooooh yeah! I've often thought of Zooming with another reseller to stay motivated. But a long podcast would definitely do it!
Watched this 4x times in the last week. I will certainly watch long form content, it's my favorite type of content. Great work with this one y'all.

@@technsports thank you! 😊
It’s the education piece that is the basis for everything, but it is the active learning that propels.
Well said!
Longer. Longer, because is the only way to let an idea develop. Some guest need time to warm up. Then the real gold starts to come out.
Thank you both. Great podcast.
Appreciate that! We will work in some longer ones
100%
Long form! Please. 😁I’m here for every bit of information. Thanks again to you both. So thankful for this group and the value it has been to my life!

Awesome Great informations 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤ thank you Boss
Appreciate you checking out the podcast!
30:36 100% tech to them (I'm included in that group) its a value, its worth its weight in gold. someone pointed out on someone else YT video in the comments its not always about Monetary value that some value there time with there family over making more money
Yes we definitely discuss this here and have in the past. Opportunity cost can be taking your kids to school.
I will definitely watch a longer podcast
Sweet. I'll mix some in! Thank you for checking out the videos!
Awesome video 👏So many nuggets. And yes longer videos like this for sure would be great.
Okay I will add some longer ones to the mix!
I would listen to a 4 hour podcast
That's a mighty long time lol
Definitely listing because if you list mid items with the best keywords as fast as possible you’re making sales.
Team list!
Great shoe thanks
Appreciate you checking out the video Tim!
Yes you got it. Net/net good for me
I'll watch as long as it goes!
Appreciate that Jeff!
LOVED this convo!
Appreciate that Laurie!
I am really enjoying the longer videos!! I play them while I paint/edit! They are super informative and enjoyable. The longer the better! 👍
Sweet! Thank you Rebecca!
Love the long podcast !
I'll mix some in!
ONE OF THE BEST TECH VIDEOS TO DATE! SHARE SHARE SHARE
Appreciate that! Share share!
The longer the better!!
I'll add some longer ones!
I like the longer. This episode was a mix on online selling 101 and PHD level. To me it looks like Isiah has gained knowledge and confidence since his first interview! The journey can feel too long at times. Step by step to progress!
Appreciate that Jason I will mix in some longer ones!
Yes bring ‘em back all things considered it’s great to get to know the crew🎉
Yes it'll be fun to watch the evolution. Thanks Patti!
Loved the example of how to get the vendor at the flea market to reduce her price 😂😂😂
Least resistance all the way. What if you were to buy one item for the week that would save you listing for the whole week because of the profit margin?
Great take aways, appreciate you dropping a comment.
Tech I do that too I fell my bag and walk by the people that wouldn't make a deal with me and then they almost chase me down the next week for my money! lol
Only way!
Hahahaha Isaiah is like a little brother after all this time. He never gets mad when he's wrong either which is ALWAYS lol
😂😂😂😂 I felt that vibe between you both! Big brother little brother! 💯
Long Video or Short. I’m always finishing the video with new knowledge. Thank you
Appreciate that so much! Hope you like them
