Chiavari is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Genoa, in Italy.
Chiavari, after Rapallo, is the city with the most inhabitants in Tigullio, and the most important city of the Riviera di Levante, after Genova.
In fact, for many years, it has been talked about the establishing a “Fifth Province” in Liguria, called the “Province of Tigullio” , with Chiavari as the capital city.

The Chiavari Antiques Market(Flea Market) is one of the most anticipated events in the town of Tigullio. For more than thirty years, hundreds of exhibitors have been meeting on the second Sunday of the month and the Saturday preceding it, to exhibit their treasures from the past. Not only objects, furniture and modern antiques, but also postcards, maps, clothing; all inserted in a characteristic setting, between alleys and historic streets. Furthermore, on Sundays, some artists exhibit their works within the “Street artists” event.
