They have two bigger opponents that the Parliament of Trees has formed an alliance with the Parliament of Limbs (the Red's parliament) to fight: The Gray, a force from another world led by no parliament that consists entirely of fungal life, and the Rot. As fungi can prove dangerous to both flora and fauna, the Red and the Green are allied against it. The Rot is death, led by the Parliament of Decay. Once they win and the alliance is called off, _then_ we can worry about what the Green thinks about our most recent actions.
No disrespect to the splendid voice actor for Injustice 2, but it's a shame that the late Dick Durock won't have the opportunity to voice Swamp Thing again. Before this game, and even during and after, his voice is so synonymous with the character (from the 2 live action films, the USA Network live action series, and the brief animated series).
