Last year I secured 95.43 %ile and took a drop for 99 %ile but reality sucks ,inspite of studying well, I struggled to clear cutoff for advanced. Parents are shouting like anything... derogatory remarks and all this shit..... If you are too sure for 99%ile and rigorous hardwork ( luck matters too )then only go for a drop or else u can try bitsat ugc state exams. Rest is your choice . I felt I should convey this message to juniors who can save their year to hustle somewhere else. For mee , i just feel guilty/regret today, hoping to do well in Advanced.

I got 87 percentile last year and took drop expecting 99 percentile this year but reality really sucks I didn't even qualify for advance. Thanks to 6th April shift 1 and high cutoff. I got 91 percentile

I am a dropper i got 117 mrks last year 6 apr s2 for 95.3%...today i got 188 mrks and just 98.5%ile again in 6s2 this year...intrestingly last year's 6s2 was easier than this year..but to be shocking 99%ile went from 175 to 200...as a dropper not at all advising anyone to take drop...with pain a dropper from kerala...
