Have you ever made green tomato relish? It's a sweet relish that my family loves on scrambled eggs and potatoes, and roast or sausage or brats! It's very easy to make, and I've seen recipes online. It has cloves and allspice. I have 8 brothers and sisters, and we grew up with my mom making it at the end of tomato season, when there were brown paper bags of green tomatoes left! In fact, my mom's recipe calls for 1 grocery bag of green tomatoes! That's pretty funny, in today's way of exact measuring!!
With all the rain we’ve had recently how did your garden fair ? The weeds here have been out of control! Mid Missouri Columbia. And now I’m growing cucumbers and tomatoes in my compost!
I wait til they are dark orange and then slice in half and bake. Once soft, scoop the insides and blend with olive oil, garlic, herbs, and a jar of diced tomatoes. Pasta water to thin as needed. It's delish!

Your garden is very beautiful, just like you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I do get as excited as you for sure. It's a lot of hard work but so worth it and tastes so much better

I have some early blight in my tomatoes and peppers and some of my onions are soft, but overall really well! Compost veggies are free veggies!
Oh my goodness, please share how you make sauce out of the Tromboncino.
