The Bengals busted out the pistol more than once last year, getting Mixon and Chase Brown on the field at the same time, to good effect. Even if Brown continues to struggle a bit in pass protection, the Bengals have shown willingness to be creative in getting him the ball. That said, reports from camp are that Brown has continued to improve in protection. He also improved running between the tackles towards the end of the season. The Bengals are very high on Brown and if Moss has any injury issues, as has been his history, Brown could very well end up with a Joe Mixon role in an offense which has the best receiving corps and offensive line Burrow’s ever played with.

KW3 is an amazing RB who’s biggest shortcoming last year was his team. Seattle’s OLine was ranked 4th from last in OLine win rate according to ESPN. We all saw their games last year. Seattle’s run blocking was horrible. None of their OL were ranked in the top 20 at their position except for Charles Cross. Walker had more yardage before the LOS than after.
The other issue was the play-calling and play schemes. KW3 was and is the Seahawks best offensive weapon. But he only was used to move the ball between the redzones. They rarely used him in the redzone or goal line. There were alot of moments where KW3 would have a major run and get tackled in the redzone, and the Seahawks would keep him in but pass for the first two downs. Then finally use him for a 3rd down run after Geno threw two incompletions or got sacked. Hopefully the Seahawks improve the team around him.

ken walker is my boyyyy. hes going in like the 6-7th round and you are getting a RB who can take it 70 yds for a td anytime he touches the ball. in past years he would be going at the 2-3 turn, he can anchor your RBs after you have a loaded WR group and he still has upside

I'd rather have either than Ekeler, who looked like toast last year. Injuries might have contributed to that, but the thing is ... Ekeler isn't going to outcarry Brian Robinson, and Ekeler's pass-catching ceiling is probably pretty low since ultra-mobile QBs like Jayden Daniels tend not to throw to their RBs very often. Brooks might start slow because of the injury recovery, but he has a clear path to be the Panthers' lead back.

Saints Oline was the weakest unit on the team..... by a good bit. Thats why ALL their RBs (not just Jamaal Williams) had low YPC. Kamara avgd 3.9 & Miller avgd 3.8.
Carr's not as good as Brees at setting up Kamara for YAC either. Kamara has to worry more about catching the ball while Brees had it perfect & with touch so Alvin could make a move right after catching it. Play calling didnt help either though....
Oline also got Carr hurt multiple times
When Brees & Payton were here the front office made the Oline a priority...... gotta be able to run the ball and gotta be able to step up in the pocket/give ur pass catchers time to get into their routes....
Looking forward to new OC using a lottttt more pre snap motion. With weapons like Olave/Kamara/Rasheed why wouldnt u??? 🤦🏼‍♂️. Yet last season they were ranked towards the bottom of the league in it 🤷🏼‍♂️....

I cant stand when people use the phrase “what the nfl thought about him” to pump up how high a player was drafted. That’s not what the “nfl” thought of him, that’s what the panthers thought of him. The only thing we know “the nfl” thought is that he wasn’t a 1st round talent. You can only use that phrase to emphasize how late someone went, not how early, because then we really CAN see what they thought of the player (they thought they weren’t worth taking). For all we know the other 31 teams had Brooks as a 5th rounder, and the Panthers were the only ones who thought otherwise. I’m not saying that is the case or that I think he sucks, not at all. What I am saying is that it’s lazy “analysis” that means nothing and hold absolutely zero weight, and boils down to just being a buzzword.
