I even thought he was hilarious on the apprentice!😂🤣 When he cursed out what’s her name from the group Danity Kane😂🤣 He was so mad at her, and it was funny af! He wanted to win in order to revive his career, I think. However, his show flopped because he did it the same way as the 90’s unfortunately.
Arsenio is still funny and his timing is still there. If he came back to late night when things start up again, he’ll rule it again! His energy and personality was made for tv and the big screen
I remember that show. I didn't know he was a voice actor in it. I remember it got named The Real because another cartoon show was running that was a takeoff of ghostbusters, but wasn't really approved by the studio that made ghostbusters.
@@francescaa8331 nope.. the "fake" Ghostbusters cartoon was actually based on a 70s live action TV show called Ghostbusters, to technically it's the "real" one. The movie studio had to pay for the rights to use the name to Filmation (the company that made the show)... and they almost didn't get it. They were so unsure that during filming they shot every scene where they say Ghostbusters to also say "Ghostbreakers" incase they had to switch.
Love Arsenio Hall ❤❤❤ just rewatched Coming to America a few months ago with my husband he is from Israel and had never seen it before we laughed so much 😅🤣 I'm excited for the part 2👍👍😘😃
When I grow up, I wanna be like Arsenio, just look 30 for the next 35 years. The man doesn't seem to have lost that spark, probably 'cause he seems to be a positive thinker. Have him on the late show as an occasional guest host, I think that'd be pretty cool.
I was thinking it was an exageration when Arsenio said that Tracy Morgan was almost the same age as Eddie Murphy, but I looked it up and Tracy is just 7 years younger than Eddie.
Arsenio is one of the only guys that has been able to make me laugh out loud during an interview during this pandemic. It's amazing how much the audience laugh helps those that need it. He is one that absolutely doesn't need a laugh track.
Arsenio was on fire, man made me laugh out loud and actually clap like 4 separate times, and the story about how he first met Eddie had me in stitches. I'd love it if they had him guest host occasionally too, it'd definitely liven the dynamic, maybe give Stephen a few pointers. The guys is 65, and he still looks 35, he's like 10 years older than Stephen. I love his energy, positive, warm, and curious. If you watch the full interview, he asks Stephen if he ever had any late night dreams, and the earnestness in his voice was damn near shocking, the cat was genuinely interested. He reminds me of Sean Evans on Hot Ones, just makes people relax and open up. Sean does have a secret weapon, super-spicy wings, and the interviews he does are always good. The guy made Paris Hilton watchable, and that alone needs recognition. Oooh, Arsenio on Hot Ones!
I loved the original movie, but the idea for it was stolen from Art Buchwald. Buchwald won his court case, but the studio claimed that it had made no profits from the film grossing $350M and managed to pay almost nothing. Buchwald didn't blame Murphy, saying that neither of them was treated fairly by the studio.
The way he said, "Beyonce's Office" made me realize Beyonce doesn't just have a manager, or entourage, or agency. There is a skyscraper somewhere that's the Beyonce Building, where she has analysts and accountants and project managers, HR staff, event Ops, marketing, etc.
What an awesome interview. It's always great to see Arsenio and with Stephen Colbert's excellent interviewing skills and genuine engagement, it's unbeatable!
This interview reminded me why I enjoyed his show so much back in the day. Hall himself said that he likes to talk with people and it shows in the best way. Such a wonderful guest and a great segment. Thank you.
Eddie: Man that movie just won't go away. America: THAT MOVIE SHOULD NEVER GO AWAY. I tell my kids to get the juices and berries and they know to come back with stuff to do their hair with. Perfect movie.
It's great to see him and he hasn't aged a bit. The years went by but it's still Arsenio. I always thought of him as the true "refresher" for late-night shows and they all seemed to up their game right after him. If he ever went on late-night again, I'd sure watch him.
Welcome back Arsenio ‘Dawg’ Hall and Eddie ‘Mr Delirious’ Murphy. One of my all time favourite comedy duos. Missed you guys. Looking mighty fine 🥰 Good grief has it really been 30 years? 🤦🏼♀️ Good comedy is finally returning to the big screen. Is it really possible that the barber shop guys would still be alive? They haven’t aged a day 😉🤷🏼♀️🤣 In any case, good to have all the characters back again. Love them all ❤️ Can’t wait to see America 2....so excited 💃💃💃
I used to love watching his show back in the day and then he disappeared for years and I thought we'd never see him again. It's good to see he's still around. What a blast from the past.
Oh man Arsenio Hall looks amazing and his energy is so fresh. I cannot wait for them to drop this flick! As an immigrant kid growing up in very new surroundings, Coming to America made so much sense to me. I totally related. Well, except for the being royalty part lol Anyway, much love to Arsenio and everyone involved in this project ✨🙏✨
Arsiniooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Hall! I will never forget this or the code for "Mike Tyson's Punch Out! to Mike Tyson". How many others will never forget? Cant wait to see the new movie.
Coming to America.. One of my favorite.. One thing always tell my friends wen they coming my place.. I live in a very getto place.. And my place outside.. But ones you come in.. You go wow!!.. Lol..
Just saw the sequel twice over the weekend. It's that good and funny. And Wesley Snipes shines as a new addition and comedic villain. What's crazy is Coming to America, like Arsenio indicated, is it's perfect as a stand-alone film. No sequel needed. But we get a sequel roughly three decades later and it turns out to be good, like Sexual Chocolate. lol.
Dang! No audience and this guy still just exudes energy and joy. One of the best guests I’ve ever seen. Arsenio was never my thing as a host but he sure seems like a pleasant positive guy!
Love coming to America and seen it so many times in my lifetime but doubt the part 2 will be as good. If only Tracey Morgan would play Eddie’s son tho, anyway I’m watching part 1 tonight again
Arsenio Hall is truly timeless...he never ages and is always hilarious.
He is 8 years older than Stephen and looks 20 years younger ...
@@redspain4732 😳 Amazing! He looks maybe 5 yrs older than when he had his late night show! Wasn't that 30 plus yrs ago? Jeeezz!
Proof positive that "Black Don't Crack"!
😁😂🤣🤪⚫

The nice thing about melanin, helps keep your skin smooth and tight. Just so long as it's your melanin and not a tan...
Man, I love Arsenio. Television needs you more brother! You are a timeless masterpiece. 100 percent real
Yep
He tried that, it bombed
good thing hes a Social media maniac...🤩😊
Man, I could listen to Arsenio tell stories all day long. What a great guest!
Me too🤣🤣🤣
Arsenio is still funny and his timing is still there. If he came back to late night when things start up again, he’ll rule it again! His energy and personality was made for tv and the big screen
"Son, I'm only going to tell you this one time.
If you want to keep working here, stay off the drugs."
Man ! you ain't never cut Martin Luther the King's hair !
Oh for the return of the one liners 🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Joy!" 😀
Joe Lewis was 137 years old when he fought Marciano!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Coming To America - back when Samuel L. Jackson wasn’t a household name when he appeared in the movie.
Cuba Gooding Jr. was a featured extra in it too. He's getting his haircut in the first barber shop scene.
The movie is legendary
Hopefully he has also a surprise cameo, everyone wants to know what happened to that poor burglar is doing
@@jincyquones
Oh shit, I either never noticed that, or forgot about it - nice!! 👏👏
The first, and still the greatest mic drop scene on the Big Screen. Sexual Chocolate! *BOOM*
that exit is unmatched even to this day.
Crikey, Arsenio hasn’t aged a day!
You'd be amazed how instrumental hair is in depicting age 😜 That said: his spirit is the same
He looks even younger.
If anything I think he aged backwards!
Moisturize!
Zoom has good filters
Coming To America is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE movies. I can't WAIT for the second one.
Good to see Arsenio again after all these years! Loving his energy, and he has lots!
It’s morning and I’m not fully awake. At first I thought: how come these old men from the barbershop are still alive?
😆
😂🤣😂🤣
lmao that's funny
I literally only know of Arsenio Hall because he was the first voice of Winston Zeddemore in The Real Ghostbusters. Fantastic voice actor!
I remember that show. I didn't know he was a voice actor in it. I remember it got named The Real because another cartoon show was running that was a takeoff of ghostbusters, but wasn't really approved by the studio that made ghostbusters.
Wow! I never knew that.
Wait....he was?
Like the one where ECTO 1 was not ECTO 1?

Holy shit Arsenio looks like he's aged a month for every year from then til' now.
Maybe he just ages a bit on alternating leap years?
How the hell is the man 65????
did the brother say "My Space"
Hell yeah! Its coming back. Fakebook just wants your data.
I can't wait to see the movie! I used to always watch his talk show. Nice to see Arsenio! ♥️

Could have listened to this interview all day....I bet he has SOOO many stories.
Me too! I didn’t realize I was smiling the whole time until it was over.
He would tell all of them amazingly!
This put a big smile on my face, thanks.
You and me both man! That interview just totally brightened my day.
Amazing interview and I love how Stephen didn’t interrupt and you could clearly see he was meeting on of his idols.
Man, I miss him on late night. He was unstoppable!
His show was great!
This was a most excellent interview! Charming and delightful.
this man is almost 70
Omg, had to look that up! He’s 65, never would have guessed!

Eddie and Arsenio look so much like they did 30 years ago, that they could have made the sequel take place a month later and have it be believable!
I was thinking it was an exageration when Arsenio said that Tracy Morgan was almost the same age as Eddie Murphy, but I looked it up and Tracy is just 7 years younger than Eddie.

Loved Arsenio's show, my favorite late night.
I have loved this man for years. It's great to see him back.
They both look amazing!
Did he just say, "I still do MySpace?"

His skin is amazing
Didn't expect much but this was a joy listening to Arsenio. What a treasure!
Gosh I have missed him! Need him in more things
Golly willikers, you're right
That was such a cool interview.
What a great show. So many nice people being funny. Jon's suit & Mrs. Hall hat...
Can't wait to see the movie!
I forgot how much I miss Asineo! He’s great!
I want Arsenio back as a night time host!
This was great! Can we get Tracy Morgan next? That interview would be hilarious

He looks great for 65
On ebay, you can still find a painting of the bath scene from the first one.
great time hearing the voice again ... Mr Hall take another swing at it sometime hey ?
I cant wait to see the new movie!

I remember come to America when they come America arsino he is the best actor I swear I can wait part 2 movie come to America party 2 I hope soon 👍
What country are you from?
The warmth that Arsenio hall delivers to my man Colbert is really sweet and an honor
I hope the sequel is at least half as good as the original.

WE JUST WANTED TO DOUBLE DOWN ON UNCLE TOM LOL
Can't wait to see both, the new movie and Stpehen in that hat!
I'm pretty sure Arsenio Hall is older than 33, because Coming To America came out in 1988, but I have no better estimation than that.
He's 65
