Appreciate ur videos, best info out there & u know the characters & comics history which most dont. Been looking forward to masterpieces & after ur interview with Dan, seeing the art, even more excited...but 3 cards per pack, 36 cards total..just saw on ur other video yall r sayin 600$. People like me that don't have a lot of $ couldve maybe got 1 box if it was 200 or something, now what's the point. That's insane to me. Might as well just say for the rich & high dollar collectors on the box. What average person these days could afford 600$ for 36 cards. With 3 cards per pack after waiting all this time, & a crazy price, to me, all the air was just let out. 3 cards...I assume not thick like fleer ultra avengers, so that's a real bummer to see. Thanks for all the info & work u do. 👍
Pretty much accepted the fact that I won't be opening or obtaining any of these boxes. Wait for them to hit ebay and wait for all the private users with no following to put the card on bid and get them for cheap. Sure brings down the value of the cards lol
Wholesale distributor prices are around $285-295. Retailers are selling them for $600-1000. The only place to get them is from Dave and Adams and Steal City. Does anyone know where we can buy them at a reasonable price???
9:11 That is a form of price manipulation and price gouging........ but it sometimes happens in the ultra modern collector coin space as well. So it's not unique to the retail cards space.
Enjoyed the content. I’m glad you included some card images. The art is great, but I think I personally prefer Palumbo and Bianchi sets, so I’ll keep working on those sets. Happy Collecting! Lol
10:38 Being a relative newcomer to the Marvel card space, this reversion to a considerably lowered price than the $600 I paid close to the height of the pre release frenzy period, shocked me. And yes, I totally got sucked into the FOMO frenzy not knowing really anything about the dynamics of the market but rather just loving the art, characters, and rhe promise of holding in hand some beautifully designed specialty cards we were being teased about in the months preceding the release. Also, I was under the impression that there was very little available retail inventory remaining. 😔 That's all it took for me to think that the $600 was worth it. 😔 Anyway, expensive lesson learned.
Prices in Sarasota County, Florida are declining hard. There was a Taylor Morrison development that has homes starting in the $189,000 range. My neighbor is trying to sell their home, and they have lowered the price of their home multiple times, and not one offer to show for it. Absolutely no foot traffic.
If I cant get in on pre sale at a decent price I may have to play the long game and buy singles a year after the product releases. Im hoping I can get lucky to get a few boxes because I've never ripped a modern MM box. Ive contacted a lot of Canadian stores and none of them can give me an answer on if they can get any boxes in. Thx for the update anyways friend. This is exciting nonetheless. Cant wait to watch some box breaks on your channel!! 😁
BTW got screwed b y CGC.....conflicting info on deadline to submit Marvel cards for Blue Label ...... Spidey posted email from upper management stating that deadline for getting online submission form submitted was July 11th and cards mailed to CGC by or before July 21st. I had boku Marvel Metal Spidey 2022 Blue combo cards I wanted to submit to get the comic/color match with blue label. I even called CGC last week on Thursday to confirm the deadline and was told that there was no definitive deadline yet according to customer service other than later in July.....then called CGC customer service again on July 11th to double check and was told sorry the switch over to new label was effective that day and all cards submitted or forms submitted from and after July 11th would only get new label.......complete BS.....going to email upper management at CGC to rip them for this infuriating, sloppy and inexcusably misleading label change process. They are missing out on potentially 200 (full set) of Blue card grading submission.....told the customer service rep on July 11th that CGC was a joke and that I would now send everything out to PSA.......as a comic book collector and card collector now I will never be able to get my Blue Spidey Metal 2022 slabbed with matching CGC blue label......pissed off and extremely disappointed in CGC.....bush league operation these days.
@@SpideyHits Thanks Justin ....oh well in the end maybe CGC did me a favor by insuring that PSA will get to grade all my Spidey Metal cards. Rather than cutting into PSA's grading dominance CGC has done just the opposite......I'm not the only non-sports card collector who has been alienated for good.
Thanks! I'm super excited i never got to open masterpiece much as a kid, can't wait to get a hobby box hopefully!!!
Good stuff J...U are correct about Blowout. They told me they have not received their allocation yet.
Thanks for the amazing information!!

I would wait. Can possibly come back down in price at some point. Maybe when epack comes out
Thank you the important content. Is it understand why Upper Deck prevents their Canadian network to sell new releases to us in the US..?
Can't wait to see you rip some packs on your show. Would LOVE to see one of my sketch cards pulled on your show. :)
Very informative. Nice video.

Great video and thanks for the info! Would love to buy a few hobby boxes but the price will likely be too high for me to even get one lol.

$350/box? Nah.
But that’s like free if you sell your cards for a profit
