While i agree with this lady that the fuel levy was a big burden on Kenyans, there are parts of the financial bill that are good for the growth and development of our country. A 1.5% housing levy will not only eliminate slum dwelling, it will also create jobs in different sectors both in manufacturing and technical jobs. Some people urge that when the construction of this houses is over the jobs will be no more. Don't forget that this houses will need maintenance. The only mistake that was made on housing levy was failure of setting up a transparent and accountability mechanism to oversight these money which is now being done. Otherwise, we aren't supposed to throw away both the baby and the bath water.
Go back to your fundamentals and economic essentials. People don't leave in Slums e.g Kibera because there are no houses just across ngong road in Kilimani and Kileleshwa, the question is affordability, that is caused by lack of jobs ...... think, don't follow blindly.

Sorry to say this but am old enough to say I saw this coming immediately after uhuru ruto sec term and the split that followed plus the patronage the deputy was being given by some of our own leaders .iwas ayouth leader in our location in 92 that was hatched or rather created to hoodwink the mt kenya youth into thinking that moi government was indeed having the best plans of our mt kenya youth at heart.we were lied abt being funded by moi but it was hot air no funds was received and Kenyans know who were mandated by moi to oversee that project.the same hustler fund and bottom up nonsense s that tore mt kenya apart recently
