Both of my boys are trumpet players. 😊 My oldest is currently a trumpet player in the Marines (USMC) Way to go on the solo! 👏 That was very brave!

I know what you mean about the commitment of looking after a cat. For many years I looked after my daughters cat when they went away and although it was only a short walk round to their house you had it on your mind all day that you had to go there at a certain time to either let the cat out or back in and to do his food, water and litter tray. I was always very relieved when they were back! Sadly Bruno died last year at the grand age of 20 so unless they have another I don’t have to do it anymore.
Exactly! I panic so much about forgetting to go that it could never actually happen but it is a big responsibility. I’m sorry about Bruno - what a fabulous age to reach though!
I hate kitting down, too. I, too, want to keep my spare drills, though..not sure why. What I do is throw all my leftovers from a kit in one baggie and label the baggie with the name of the kit. That won't help me if I ever need a specific color, but maybe it's better than just throwing them away?
I like kitting down - am I the odd one?? I do it on the sofa watching tv. I find it very therapeutic. I do like the Artdot style WAY MORE than the EW. I bought 5 EW but plan to sell all but one - I do think it might be ok for larger kits with a small number of colours (eg. DAC Painting the Roses Red - 74 x 56 with 18 colours). I kit up into the Artdot and when I am ready to start I put a nail polish stand on my table and have them there in approx rainbow order while I am working on it. When I switch kits I just tuck them back away in the Artdot and take out another. Hopefully the 3-rule applies and you will have some peaceful homeownership for a long while now.

Hi Cat thanks for kit up and chat. Why though have you kitted up not in ew kind of storage? I was going to copy you lol. Where did you get the large tubs from and sorry if I have asked before. I hope your Mother In Law is feeling better day by day and you enjoy your break. She probably needs it hun x

I'm also joining the event but whilst listening to you and you leak and blockage lol I'm working on a canvas for another event which is a round canvas. I will look forward to seeing your progress pics, oh and I have this canvas toooo.
I can't beleive somebody would not go daily whilst looking after any pet. I've bird sat before now and ended up taking him into our home for a few hours aday to talk to.

I mostly prefer the Artdot ones. I only really use the EW style ones for smaller kits with fewer colours as I don’t like having to use more than one tray or too many of the smallest size container 🙂

Oh, interesting. I didn’t realise that seeing as it looks the part for a brass band. I guess they’re more of a school orchestra than brass band then 🙂

Whatever works! I hate the waste of throwing them away but it takes so long to store them properly 🤔
