I genuinely think professional help might be needed before an unrecoverable hole is got into. End of video update: Talks a lot of bad luck when losing hands he was ahead, but talks of sucking out hands as if that’s normal and expected. I watched the stream, this was not run bad, it was very clearly a gambling issue.
I felt this was inevitable for years. It always seemed like he was on a never ending sun run, and it just kept going and going but the quality of the play and the things he said to justify his decisions didn't add up. The greatest irony is that Rampage calls those of us who are telling him that he needs to go back and study the game, “haters” when in fact we’re the ones actually giving him the most beneficial advice. And his “supporters” telling him to just keep his chin up and stay at it are totally enabling him. Although it’s not really that unusual when someone has an addiction that they turn against those closest to them who are giving them the cold, hard truth (like at an intervention) and instead embrace those who fuel their addiction. It’s just sad that he obviously has no one in his life, poker related or otherwise, to be honest with him about this situation. Or maybe he does but he chooses to not listen to them, just like he labels us as haters. Sadly, some people just need to hit rock bottom before they can turn things around.
I think the bounties got into your head way more than they should have. Yes they're a factor but they're not the ONLY factor. Ripping in 30k to win 2k-6k in bounties is -EV no matter how the hand plays out. Just because someone is "incentivised" to try and win a pot for the bounties doesn't mean they are bluffing with air. Even if they were, what does the all in accomplish? They fold all their bluffs and call when you're dead, just like any other game.

I had only ever heard of rampage from Brad's videos. He mentioned him yesterday and i was bored so I pulled him up and started on whatever "The Road to A Million Ep1" was. I have sense binge watched every thing from when he dumps 500k to the most recent vid. I don't know what how to describe what the fuck I am watching here. I can't look away while this dude describes his thought process on his self-destruction. I'm like a once every 4 months 1-3 player. I can't tell if he is just making shit up to justify his borderline suicidal play on the videos because saying "I decided to play a hand I shouldn't have pre-flop and decided to triple barrel" would make for boring content, or if he believes any part of what he says. I am now a loyal Ramage viewer. Just subbed because I have to see how this ends. That said he is likeable enough that I am taking no joy from watching this dude implode, however he is clearly getting to the point where he is going to be straight broke or have to go down in the stakes. Since apparently now that everyone he plays with knows his playstyle, he is not going to go on a tear in the high stakes games he's playing. After watching the most recent videos you can tell how familiar your play style is to the tables. If you raise, its nuts or nothing. If you check heads up its because you have a pair, you want to get to showdown with. I haven't been paying super close attention but I'm assuming the player pool in these stream games is small enough and talented enough that they have all clued into this as well. Ramage if you read this all i can say is, as a certain point Brad started playing these high stakes streamed games and just got fucking torched. Once he lost an impactful amount of his bank roll, he went down in stakes, and I haven't seen a Brad Owen vid of him playing nosebleeds on stream since. Your fans, like Brads fans want to see you succeed and win big but they like will like watching you actually play regardless of the stakes. If Brad dropped a 1 hour video of him playing 1-2 at a Native Casino in No Where Iowa, i would watch that shit right now. Your fans don't need to see you playing nosebleeds to be engaged. Your either chasing so hard right now you need to reset, or don't want to go down stakes and disappoint your fans. Either way bro something is going to change soon for you and Its not going to be that the Hustler Live Stream starts respecting your bets tomorrow afternoon. If you won't go down stakes, at least find some new games to play where everyone doesn't know the current rampage tactics. Take a trip to Vancouver or some shit. I hope you level out, keep playing, and making content. I'll be watching.
At this point I’m torturing myself watching you. I love the content and I want to see you succeed so badly, it’s just watching you play it’s not poker you’re just digging yourself a hole and I hate to see it. Still wishing you the best and hopefully you recognize what you’re doing and take a break!
Rampage man, I respect you because you’ve at least admitted that you played on variance and luck. I personally think you might wanna just take a break for a little. Stop playing in all the big games and whatnot and just take a step back. You were an amazing player and ik you can get there again, you just need to take the right steps
Explain why it is one of the worst hands you have ever seen Mariano is definitely going to bluff more often given the bounty situation so we can expect a few more combos in his bluffing range than normal. Mariano is totally capable. Rampage might have the actual best bluff combo possible. So what is so bad
"here's to running better in the future..." as someone who grinds regularly, and runs into actual bad beats and bad variance, this statement from Rampage is just ridiculous. he actually thinks that he isn't running well? by hitting the donk 3 outer? by losing a flip then winning a flip? or by blasting a brand new car value worth of bluff with complete air against not one, but two better players? i don't usually comment, but the busto countdown is on...
its funny as hell... you get wildly confused in normal two card poker with standard rules and with all these other variables you just lose your mind to confusion... why do you do this to yourself?
I am no pro. But even though there are bounties, incentives for consecutive hands, playing tighter seems a better choice to me. When incentives are minimal, what 25% of the pots, in some hands, it's just not enough to play that loose. On the jack ten, there's no way I call that hand with overs and a straight, even with Mariano being capable of playing loose AF. Bad shove IMO. But like I said, I am no pro.

Wonder why he made it a point to not say Lex’s name. Interesting
Would you say that annoying players name?
@@jackspinner4727 I enjoy his vlogs so I don’t think he’s annoying but that’s just my opinion
all-in re-raise with JT was absurd, lighting money on fire.
This clown started to tilt after losing early to a flip game 😂 .....
At this point I’m torturing myself watching you. I love the content and I want to see you succeed so badly, it’s just watching you play it’s not poker you’re just digging yourself a hole and I hate to see it. Still wishing you the best and hopefully you recognize what you’re doing and take a break!
so let me get this straight...all in 30k to win a 1k bounty???? WOW you guys are smart
It’s crazy how all logic leaves for these players
I love the content, and I love the gambling, but there is such thing as folding😂😂😂
2025, road to 3mil.. episode 102.
Rampage man, I respect you because you’ve at least admitted that you played on variance and luck. I personally think you might wanna just take a break for a little. Stop playing in all the big games and whatnot and just take a step back. You were an amazing player and ik you can get there again, you just need to take the right steps
Need to change the "Road to a 1,000,000" graphic and add a negative sign so it says "Road to a -1,000,000...again"
Don't be confuse with the bounty, you did same shits in classic poker too...
that J10 hand is one of the worst played hands ive ver seen, you we were wrong about 6 times!
Explain why it is one of the worst hands you have ever seen
Mariano is definitely going to bluff more often given the bounty situation so we can expect a few more combos in his bluffing range than normal. Mariano is totally capable. Rampage might have the actual best bluff combo possible.
So what is so bad
The button of violence. More like butting of punt.
He looks worse at poker in that hat and sunglasses
Exactly why I wear that same fit
The hat makes me think of Gilligan from Gilligans Island .
More like ROAD to 2 MILLION🤔🤔🤔
"here's to running better in the future..."
as someone who grinds regularly, and runs into actual bad beats and bad variance, this statement from Rampage is just ridiculous. he actually thinks that he isn't running well? by hitting the donk 3 outer? by losing a flip then winning a flip? or by blasting a brand new car value worth of bluff with complete air against not one, but two better players?
i don't usually comment, but the busto countdown is on...
Are interventions still a thing? Yikes
"I don't really wanna go multi way out of position " Rampage says with J 10 SUITED
get money from backers, punt it to my friend next to me, sounds more +ev than winning 😂
Hey guys I think this just took the crown for being my favourite horror film!
Road to -$1,000,000
They love when rampage plays as he's a mug 😂
Imagine staking this guy
Seriously. Better off betting on horses at this point. Your odds are better in a coin flip than giving this guy money
Amazing MVP Rampage. Y'all know what that means 😂😂
its funny as hell... you get wildly confused in normal two card poker with standard rules and with all these other variables you just lose your mind to confusion... why do you do this to yourself?
I am no pro. But even though there are bounties, incentives for consecutive hands, playing tighter seems a better choice to me. When incentives are minimal, what 25% of the pots, in some hands, it's just not enough to play that loose. On the jack ten, there's no way I call that hand with overs and a straight, even with Mariano being capable of playing loose AF.
Bad shove IMO.
But like I said, I am no pro.
