    Camping gear has evolved amazingly in my time, so many bugs eliminated and conveniences incorporated. Just great design. I noted that you did this alone, but I could still pick the exact time, once it was standing, that my kids would have stopped helping, and dived inside the still incomplete project. Good watch...Stay rusty...lol

    Thinking about purchasing this! Awesome video!
    Quick question - can you zip the door from the inside so it can’t be unzipped and opened from the outside?
    The window covers look like they can only be zipped closed from outside, does that mean somebody could come and upzip them and look inside?

    Very late on this video so hoping to get some help :) I’m bringing this tent for a festival in Cumbria so can be very unpredictable in the weather. Usually have quite heavy and rainy winds. How does it hold up in these conditions or is there anything to help? Managed to pick it up for £90!

    • @RedBranchBushcraft
      @RedBranchBushcraft  Місяць тому +1

      It held up fine for me in rain and wind , try and pitch it somewhere sheltered, I'd say really strong winds would destroy it

    Great video. I like the thorough explanation. I've owned this tent for two years and you showed me a couple new tricks. I really like this tent so much. Its big and simple to put up. My only knock is that during late season camping this tent is to well ventilated. There is no way to stop the wind completely from coming in. A couple of times I had the opening/door lined up with the prevailing winds and was freezing my butt off. I rotated the tent and that helped out. I would still recommend this tent for size, the easy and simple set up and the overall bomb-proof of the poles.

    Great video that has made up my mind about getting one of these tenrs. Shouldarrive in the next week hopefully. After having out tunnel tent up for most of 2020 and basically destroyed by a mix of UV and strong winds I was looking for something to setup as an outdoor room and something that we can take with us on holiday and I was interested in this model. Your hints about putting it up are going to be helpful I am sure. The channel looks like a good find for me so off to check your other videos out now :)

      No for the draughts but anything I think will get too hot if left in direct sunlight

      @@RedBranchBushcraft Thanks, seen some people say these get cold and draughty because of the gap by the door that goes between the flysheet and mesh, and because the fly sheet doesnt go all the way to the ground. But im guessing but these people that said that arent as hardy as us and probably the type that complain about everything lol

    I have the orange one which we use in the summer as a party tent for the kids to have camping parties in. Fill it with bean bags n sleeping bags with loads of fairy lights. They always have a great time!
