I love it!! Maybe put the flakes in a round coaster to match and then place the bowl on top while it's curing to make a base.
Gorgeous ! ❤❤❤
Teal and earthy colours would look amazing
Pretty, pretty! Love the flakes and your bowl turned out functional! Thank you💯❤️
Put the little rubber stopper feet on the bottom in an even split. That'll keep tables and the bottom of the bowl safe from scrapes.
This turned out really pretty ❤the flakes are really colorful 😊
cute taco bowl Michelle. Yes I found the Chameleon flakes fly all over the place so have only used them once! Thanks for the idea🤗💕💙
Good mornng! And yes, I'm shopping again. Molds and Shapes and Let's Resin. Love it Michelle.
lol 😂
This is so pretty!! ❤!! I’d love to see it in Silver Glitter and Red Mica for Valentine’s Day!! Please 😊!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Ohhh good idea!!
The colors are gorgeous Michelle I love it you could call it a fruit bowl❤❤❤
It's beautiful, love the colours 😍
It turns out gorgeous, like the flakes' color.
Saying that your husband has a solution to every problem you've ever had, man that is a big statement. I hope he heard you say that I cannot think of anything a wife could say that would show more respect.
I tell him that all the time 😁 he’s my go to for a solution all the time! ❤️
@glitznglitterbymichelle1 I love that I really appreciate what you make, but I appreciate the person you are alot more
Beautiful results, as always...thankyou for sharing
Really, really pretty! I’m glad you caught it at time. ❤❤❤
Love the purple and green next to each other.
Really love this one and love the colours
Beautiful colors. I love e those flakes.😊❤
You could always try a smaller coaster on bottom of your bowl 😊
Super cute for like a trinket tray or like somewhere you put your mail and key's
Love the flakes and the bowl, it's very pretty. ❤❤❤
I have to admit I'm not crazy over the colors, but I did enjoy the experiment. Thanks!
Love the colors.
Love how it turned out ❤
Very beautiful. The colors are fantastic. I was thinking you could put a cloth napkin in it and use it for bread sticks. ✌️❤️🤣 peace, love and happiness
Good idea!
It looks great. I think the flakes make it a bit more rustic looking.
I like it! Maybe a coaster mold for the bottom? Or maybe the glass part of a tea candle?
Love it. Such a cool design. What about setting it in a thin coaster mold to make a stand type of bottom? I’m sure you guys will have neat ideas.
Was just about to say rest it in a coaster mould for a base. 😁
It’s gorgeous! ❤
Turned really pretty 😍
Love the purple/blue
Do a small round coaster to the same point then set the bowl on top of it after demolding and you have a base because they will stick together. It came out beautiful.
Love it ,really enjoying your videos thanks for sharing 🎉
Thanks for watching!
"more of a taco than a bowl" you are so funny. Lovely make :) Little rubber bumper feet might be enough to stop the wobble :)
😊 thank you - loved your foil video I’ll be “copying” that one for sure!
I find it easier to do bowls when it's thinner but it's beautiful
Yes this was thicker than I normally pour for a bowl
The overall colors are pretty - glad you made the bowl out of it. Thank you! 💜
Love ❤️ the colors of the flakes & in the bowl. They’re so pretty 😍. Thank you Michelle
I love this. It’s very pretty. One thing that worked for me was, I used a silicone mat under and one over the mold when I put it in the bowl. It worked very well because I was able to weigh down a cup which made a more solid bottom that didn’t wobble. I hope that makes sense.
I love your videos!
I love it! Perfect for candy or maybe keys and change. You could make a base out of clay for it to rest in.
Love those flakes. The shimmer and the color shift is so pretty. Good idea with the gold pen. It really defines the sections.
I love using flakes. But, yes, they are very messy. Another UA-camr uses a bottle of resin to hold it in place. She puts a silicone mat between resin piece and the bottle. Seems like it works great for her.
I love these molds you got from Molds and Shapes! Very pretty!
When I do my bowls,I put plastic wrap in first .
And you really have to push it down
For the bottom, make a coaster and hot glue it to the bottom
Great candy dish
Gorgeous colors and shine. Flakes are a pain to use, they go wherever they want. I won't buy them again. I use dry rice to measure how much resin I need for my molds. It works like a charm! I write the amount needed on my molds. I keep the rice in an old baby wipe container for reuse.
What do you write with that will stay on the mold and not wash off?
It’s very pretty, the flake’s are colorful. IDK if the flakes are nicer than other colorants, they are different in a good way. I really like the mold design. Thanks for sharing ❤
I like chameleon flakes but they're a pain in the behind to use. You can always use it as an entry way bowl for keys and such.
Beautiful ❤❤❤❤
Love it it's very mod
It turned out great! As others have said the flakes are a pain to use but very pretty😍. I’ve only used mine once. You have the patience of a saint Michelle! ☺️💐Don is such a clever guy! Kudos to him!👍
The flakes r intended for ur resin they stay floating instead of falling to the bottom but still very beautiful or that is what I was told u know what I think would look good in that mold maybe some different color abalone shells or something along the lines of different colors mosaic
Cool colors!
Maybe a bag of rice (or a plastic bag of flour?) will conform the resin to the shape of the bowl, then add heavy weights on top? Just thinking! 😁
Great idea!
Turned out great. I was worried about the weights and wood blocks leaving marks. But it didn’t. Not sure about the flakes. I like them but I don't like how messy they are. 😅
They are kind of fly away messy 😁
Very pretty! Maybe for a nice bunch of bananas!
Very pretty
You could epoxy or E6000 some little feet or a coaster on the bottom so it doesn't roll or wobble around.
Love it Michelle! When using your heating mat do you wait some time before you put your piece in there?
Depends on which technique I’m trying to achieve
So sparkly - those flakes look like hard work tho 😂
The dish is very pretty - can you use all paint markers on moulds before you pour resin in?
I did a reindeer for Little-un with some uv resin but that was hard to get in the eyes/nose so now I'm thinking paint pens might be easier? Hmm 🤔 aloud here sorry 😊
I’ve never used markers on molds so I’m not sure
Do you think the resin was too thick? I’ve watched Julie Cutts make her bowls and the resin was thinner. Yours turned out pretty. Those flakes are crazy flyaway 🤣. Thanks 😊👍👏
It was thicker than I normally do for bowls yes
It's pretty, but I think I like the chameleon powders better. The next time, you may want to put something on the ends to make "ruffles" on your bowl.
I usually do but this one was too thick to do fluting on it.
Use rubber/silicone stick on pads as feet
So beautiful. ❤❤❤
Could you put a coaster under it attached with resin
Yes, that is what I was thinking as well.
You could put leggs on it, you know the antique type
🥰
Try different shades of blue
I'd probably tape it to the back of the bowl, and use gravity to help, plus the bottom of the bowl has that flat area. Secondly, to fix this one, just grab a bracelet mold, pour, take it out when it's about the same level of done as the bowl was, and shape it to the bottom of the bowl :-) I have a bunch of bottoms for candle holders and things, too, molds that is.. If you have those, that could look very classy and upscale ;) Especially if you paint the black a nice gold or that "heaven" glitter you like so much. Give it an opalescent look to balance the metallic shine on the front.. Just thoughts from the sick girl stuck in bed, lol
Great idea!
Do you have a video on using infrared thermometer?
Not sure the difference between an infrared and the one I use ? 🤔
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 I think I saw you use the red thermometer. Do you recall what video it was and do you have a video on how to use it?
I use my thermometer on all my blooms, so if you find any bloom videos all I do is check the temperature with it to see if it hits 33c/95f
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 Great thanks for responding.
Where do you buy the heating mat from please
amzn.to/3NmJKaX here’s a link
It may have worked better if you had not poured it so thick, nice try though
Very pretty
