- As the title said, today we take a first look at the newest collectors plane released in IL2: Sturmovik, TA 152 H-1. I'll compare different aspects of this plane with the Dora, as the similarities makes it inevitable.

It's great that we get a high-altitude fighter, but there's nothing to hunt with it, i.e. four engine bombers in a combat box at high altitude.
I really like the performance. Especially at high altitudes, germany finally has something to counter the Tempest and P-51.
I would love for the C3 variant to be added in the future as well.
I'm confused by the way this is modelled. Isn't the Ta supposed to be more maneuverable than the Fw-190?
It's a tough sell. Seems like this plane will only really get it's proper role filled once B-29's are produced sometime down the line with the Korean War module. In multiplayer as is it will be extremely rare to use this bird in it's prime hunting grounds.
Ah, one of my favorite WW2 era prop planes. Yes, the Ta-152 was basically the final evolution of the Fw-190. Designed specifically to intercept the American B-29 Superfortress Bomber of which the Germans believed were going to be used against them). Only 72 were built.
~150 have been build.
Hopefully i get to continue the career this weekend, i really hope there are some high altitude sorties in there.
It's historical accurate case for a mission covering the Me-262s, in 1945 each fighter types were used for such missions, don't be surprised if you will get mission for bombing, assault etc))
