I would always get bit after coming out the pool I swam in in the apartment complex I lived in as a kid...I always hated them things...They bit the dog mess outta me...

I got bit by a horsefly once when I was about 7, I screamed and sprinted almost around the whole lake we were at. After that I never wanted to walk past the lake again.. It took 3 days to fully heal

@@Peanutbutter_maddenThey are. I was stung in the neck by a horsefly and when I tell you it felt like someone took a mechanical pencil clicked it to it’s FULL extension and used all the strength they had and stabbed me in the neck with it. Something I never want to experience again.
I was climbing a tree when i was about 10yrs old and a giant horsefly flew directly into my armpit and bit me. It was so painful that it caused me to lose my grip and fall about 5 metres onto grass. It's amazing i didn't break any bones but i have hated those flys ever since.
Man that shit probably hurt so bad. I’ve been bitten and stung by all the normally encountered bugs in the US I’d say and the Horsefly has to be up there with the most unpleasant. Not even any venom or anything. Just pain 😂
How are you not screaming in pain? This is not a bee with a surgical stinger, this is a diminutive monster with huge mandibles that dig into your flesh and the bite is extremely painful.
Yes, their bites hurt! They don't pierce your skin to get at your blood like a mosquito their mouth parts slice your skin like scissors to create a blood pool, which their spongey tongue soaks up and it can be pretty painful, comparable to a bee sting they can also be persistent little buggers often pursuing you till you splat them or they get your blood
That's not a horse fly you wouldn't be calm. Their bite is super painful. They bite through jeans. There would be blood immediately on your skin. That was a common fly. I got bit through my thick jeans and it would not stop following me after running fast.
@@ZennonTheOnehi 👋 there ZennonTheOne thank you for your comment and viewing my video. Compared to a wasp this is nothing. I got stung on the forehead about 6 months ago at my mums place and a hornet 🐝 bit me above the eyebrow. It was absolute agony. To answer your question this fly was a walk in the park (literally) 😊
Yes, it's painful since they tear open the skin to get at your blood, their mouth parts work like scissors to slice into your skin to reach the blood, making you bleed then their tongues act like sponges to soak the blood up, it's comparable to a bee sting in terms of pain and nothing like a mosquito or tick which you will rarely feel, they are also quite persistent little buggers often pursue you until they get you or you splat them
Yikes, you have to be careful, Horseflies sometimes carry diseases. I hope you went to the doctor for a check-up.
This guy is immune to all type of diseases they carry

New fear unlocked: having a housefly in your home..
Females do this when they are about to lay eggs. Similar to mosquitoes. Horsefly’s are basically giant mosquitoes

They leave a scar.
