Thank you Lee! I really love the travel vids! I wish the rest of the channel liked them better. Oh well! Appreciate you watching and taking time to leave a comment!
Have really enjoyed your videos at Havasupi and the wave. I would love to go but at 67 with osteoarthritis it probably won't happen. We do try and get to at least one new national park every year.
That’s awesome! We love national parks too! How many have you been to? Do you have the passport or cancellation book? Appreciate you watching. Happy to hear that you liked them. 😊
Wow, I just heard about River in the hospital… our prayers are with you buddy.. and for the whole family as well, because this effects everyone.. I’m expecting a good report River! 👍💙
A little history about our Federal Park system in the United States. President Roosevelt's legacy as a conservationist is truly remarkable. During his presidency, he established a staggering 230 million acres of public lands between 1901 and 1909, including the creation of 150 national forests, the first 55 federal bird reservations and game preserves, five national parks, and the first 18 national monuments. In addition, he created the U.S. Forest Service in 1905, with Gifford Pinchot as its first Chief Forester. Pinchot's expertise in habitat preservation was instrumental in adding critical forests and wilderness areas. Overall, President Roosevelt's dedication to conservation has left a lasting impact on the United States and set an admirable example for generations to come.
@@AdrenalineRushAdventures I have a little history you may not know about President Roosevelt. His oldest son was shot down in World War and was killed. His other son was the only General that actually set foot on the beaches on D-Day and command troops all the way to Germany. As he was the highest ranking officer he commanded everyone to attack Germany. He was a very unwell man with heart issues. And the oldest Top ranking General to see this kind of battle. 2 weeks later after he took Germany he passed away in France.
Happy Birthday River!! Feel better! The wave is so awesome!! Here are my thoughts while watching: -Aladdin quotes and music are *chefs kiss* -you guys make it look easy again and I know it was tiring. -God did paint a beautiful wave -how can animals be in that water way up there?? -the sand in your shoes is funny, the big pile reminded me the big ash pile Love your family and adventures!! 🤩 ps I’m so glad Miley watches her heat due to her history exhaustion/stroke ☀️
Yay! You finally Watched!! I liked the Aladdin parts too! Yep, we have to take it easy on her in that aspect...but that's the only time we take it easy on her.
A little current history about our Federal Park System. President Trump has a conservation legacy. President Trump took a keen interest into Rebuilding our national parks. The well-being of our national parks is of utmost importance and requires our immediate attention. Despite past administrations and Congress acknowledging the issue, no significant action has been taken to address the problem. However, President Trump's recent efforts to support Congress in repairing the aging infrastructure and funding conservation projects are commendable and show promise towards finding a solution. By implementing these two proposals, we can take a significant step towards safeguarding our national parks and preserving our natural heritage for future generations to come. conservation and outdoor recreation can bring people together and bridge political divides. In today's world, it's more crucial than ever to give the American people access to the great outdoors. Our 419 national parks, 568 wildlife refuges, and many other public sites across the 500 million acres of public lands we manage provide excellent opportunities for Americans to experience the natural world. Let's work together to ensure that these public lands are well preserved and accessible to everyone.
Update: It’s our 3rd day in the hospital and this morning the Dr. said he heard airflow in his right lung for the first time. He said that is progress. So we think River has started back in the right direction. He still will not be able to eat overnight in case of surgery in the morning, but everyday he makes it without surgery the less chance there is he will have to have surgery. So your prayers and kind words are working, but we aren’t all the way out of the woods yet. We will be in here for a few more days at least and he is still in a lot of pain, but thanks everyone! Yall are appreciated!
