Did you measure the height of the tube to see if it floated at all during the burying process? Or did you measure the roundness of the tube to see if it distorted?
Septic tank under the floor and piping to pump it from the elevator shaft. You can see the floor level of the bunker from the side rails and everything under them is prime space for stuff like wiring, plumbing, storage, water and septic tanks and there's surprisingly lot of space considering the floor will be around 2-3' from the bottom of the pipe.
here's a small thought, add some concrete to the very bottom of the corrugated tube so you get a tiny flat section so that if (when) water ever does get in, it can drain to where you put the sump pump, and doesn't make little puddles in ever rib of the corrugated pipe.
But it is very sandy soil which means the water should percolate further down and they never have those puddles. If you put concrete down you will. Those drain tubes are there just in case they actually get enough rain soaking into the ground that it can not percolate fast enough. Something that probably will not happen very often.
That's outside, I mean inside the steel tube, like rain water getting in the hatch, or condensation on the walls. That's not going to magically move outside the tube and into the sand.@@oldtimefarmboy617

It’s no wonder you have over 8 million subscribers. Love this content. I have a question. What information, about your future, drove you to undertake a backyard bunker?
Your yard has been naturally compacted since they built you house. Chances are when they build your house/neighborhood, they had to dig down quite deep to put propper soil in and re-compact each layer. There is compacting requirements and soil type requirements when building structures, and alot of neightborhoods you see getting built, they dig out a giant pit 30+ feet deep and re-compact the entire neighborhood and soil and adding in all utilities. They do this all at once because its more cost effective to get giant earth movers in and do it all at once, rather then a lot by lot bases, bring equipment in and out and in and out constant... this is why after all the earth moving is done and signed off, they hit the ground running and every lot is perfect levels for building onto. So I bet this was all dug up when they built your house back in the day.
Hey Jerry construction site leader in Germany here i wanna point out that the guys that did the whole backfilling did a really good job.Props to them they knew exactly what to do.

Huge progress man, i can't wait to see the end❤

This seems great, fantastic. Burying a piece of metal, I like that. Construction today can be easy for them, but for starters it's all new. Beginners first, how to cut metal. I love watching work here, so cool
Absolute pleasure to watch
Thank you for letting us experience some of this with you. It's exciting watching this. A lot of love from Morocco 🇲🇦
That was so much of work... In just so little video.. this would take atleast take me two whole months to just get the bunker burried , if not planned properly, it would be disaster!! Glad, I learned some stuff kf soil and got some ideas from it! Boss Jerry, you got really something to put something like this together 💯💯♾️ Looking forward to your interior designs (Batcave?) ⏩

How did you coat the bottom areas that had the coating burned off?

GREAT PROJECT. "You da man" I recommend making that entry door camouflaged. Oh, I dunno, disguised with a toolshed maybe, but that's just my thoughts.
