Breathtaking man, just epic....and using the rooster-tail spray clouds to splice....mwahh chef's kiss! That long spine with no visible dropout in the 2nd one looked sketch but dayyyymnnnn. Have to say Chile and Baldface are personal cherries if I could choose.
@@GimbalGodif you were in Japan, not to film, just smashing pow for fun, what deck would you choose for trees, side hits, minor buttering and just charging round like you guys do?
Hey, love your videos. I'm in the market for an action cam and was wondering if you ever tried the DJI Action models? I like their large sensor but for some reason, your footage looks much smoother (less choppy) than the DJI's. Are you on 60FPS/120 shutter & 120FPS/240 shutter usually? Your recent GoPro Hero 13 video doesn't make it clear. Also, are you ever using GyroFlow or just stick to Hypersmooth?
Hello! I have not ever tried DJI, just talked to an engineer at GoPro as he tests them both objectively. The sensor size when it comes to action cameras is more marketing than actuality. When choppiness comes down to shutter speed. At the end of the day a gimbal and any action camera utilizing the 180 shutter rule will be superior. Watch my “Watch this and but your season pass” video. That was Hero 7 and a gimbal which to be honest is much more superior shooting 2.7k without any stabilization on a gimbal than any of this new 5.3k modes with the in camera stabilization. Where I get the best results is on GoPro utilizing their new in-camera image processing on the hero 13 as it was made for ND filter use. I utilize ND8s mostly but occasionally in smooth conditions and if it’s very bright utilize an ND16 to get the shutter speed as low as possible without glitching the stabilization. Sorry for the long winded answer but more of less getting the shutter speed to 1/480 gets the best look for the most part and reduces choppiness on whatever camera you’re on. Don’t be fooled by marketing BS on larger sensors. I choose GoPro as every other action camera on the market is just a knock off of the original. That’s my two cents 🤷🏼♂️
Baldface is like the only thing on my bucket list, over and over and over It's right next to the only thing on my bucket list; Valdez, right next to Chile, right next to...lol You're a lucky man!
Whats up, man! honest to goodness question - runs like the one shown in clips 1,3,4 could you describe the speed and the technical difficulty of these runs. snow looks so smooth i am curious how difficult and what sort of riders are required to crush it! Thanks, God!
I mean anyone can make it happen but definitely having Sage or one of the boys makes everything look so damn smooth and easy. Got good friends for models!
At minute 3:47 for the Brandon J Davis clip in New Zealand, do you notice the magenta tint in the snow? The previous GoPro don’t seem to have this problem with the snow color.
Why do I keep torturing myself watching these vids?
I am sorry ;)
@@GimbalGod no ur not)
Jaw open from the clip of you riding Chile to the end of the video 😮
The views, the frames, the snow quality, the riding 🤙🏽

Haha thank you my friend.
Love the no music aspect. Nice edit.
Me too keeps it simple. I always throw on a personal playlist on a speaker when I watch stuff like this
Exactly! I can feel the adrenaline when I hear the sound of the snow ripping across the base of the board.

Crazy landscape in the last video and amazing pow pow. We’re in chile are the mountains red? Thanks for capturing the whole beauty of snowboarding 🙏
Little bit of saturation for sure but it’s like a reddish orange rock similar to places in Zion or Moab.
