- Where the ocean and forest meet.
Tammy and I regularly throw around our own versions of the "dream" place to call home. More often than not, it ends up with Tammy hypothetically moving to the seaside and myself heading for the mountains and dense forests.
So, basically, we'd like to move here.
Misty Mountain Reserve was once a humble dairy farm (with quite a view!) that had more than its fair share of friends and family staying over night after night - they just would not want to leave! Eventually, the first cottage was built... Need we say more?
If you're seeking out some serious rest and relaxation, we cannot think of a better stop along the Garden Route than Misty Mountain (with the obligatory quad bike ride through the forest with Tsitsikamma Adventure Land, of course)!

We also LOOOOVE Tsitsikamma. Ocean, mountains, forests 😍
It's in Storms River, which marks the end (or start) of the Garden Route. It's basically half-way between Knysna and Cape St Francis / Jeffreys Bay, and is in the Eastern Cape.
