This is true…I don’t recommend booking the hotels on the Qibla side as well. Especially if you’re with elderly people. I just came back from an Umrah trip and we stayed at Pullman ZamZam in Madinah…even though it’s close the the actual mosque, because it’s in front of the imam you have to keep walking until you find a spot/area for men especially if you want to pray in the courtyards of the mosque. Also if you’re with a female then you will have to walk and drop them off somewhere half way and the male area is usually on the far right corner side so you have to walk a bit more (if you’re walking from the qibla side and from a hotel where zamzam is located)
Best to book Sofitel, Dar Al Taqwa etc
Thank you for sharing your experience!
So which hotels are cheaper on the correct sides? Pullman always comes back as 1 of the cheaper 5* hotels…
@@ruheluddin9384Movenpick or Bosphorus (though have to walk through the courtyard before reaching gates)
This was helpful. I was thinking of booking at Pullman as well bc of the view being able to see the Green dome, but the walk was concering and i couldnt figure it out esp i have an elderly mother
@BlueSky78683 Well if you are guaranteed the Green Dome then leave hotel earlier to bring elderly to masjid -also you all can send salam to Rasulullah SAW and Sahaba everytime you pass by the front entry. ladies prayers area's flanked at end so depending on which gate you are gg to enter Pillars 12-16 usually are filled up extremely fast-Jumaah even 2.5hrs are filled up.Wheelchairs pilgrims have dedicated end of prayer hall inside masjid but for outside guards will guide accordingly.
Dar Al Taqwa,Taiba Suites (there are 2 if not mistaken pls refer to Google map the 1 nearest to Masjid Nabawi),Hilton,Sofitel,Al Rawda Royal Inn Hotel though expensive but will make it easier for her. As for you walking more to the masjid you also earn more rewards. It is a win win situation.
For family what abiut sky view hotel please do considwr we have small kids with us
That's a valid point to consider
Thanks for watching
Excellent piece of info .... Jazak Allahu Khairan bro
@ Samia. Thanks for watching.
Thanks brother ..its helpful..i
Happy to help
My travel agent has booked me in to somewhere with 1 star reviews called al ansar golden tulip :(
Any idea if this is a good location to the masjid, despite its all rubbish reviews
اللهم اجعلني من مواطني المدينة المنورة بصدقة الرسول الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Salam How about one inn Madinah hotel near museum
Is the sofitel shahd Al madina hotel a good choice?
jazakkallah khairan brother
2023 my hotel in kiblah side near masjid ghamamah. kiblah side ease enter raudhah
Jazakallah for all the videos regarding Makkah and Medina. I am planning an umrah trip with my family and elderly mother next year and I have found your videos very informative. Particularly useful to know where all the bangladeshi food spots are as we don't tend to eat fast food. Thanks once again 👍
Thank you for watching!
Good point. Another reason to choose the North side is that most of the restaurants and malls are on that side so you won't have to walk far for those. Additionally you have more choices of hotels on the North side.
True, in other words, the hotel facing to Qubla side are far, because we have to walk a lot to join congregation (Jamath) prayer.. because people always full in the first lines l thus we have to move to back further..
Salam, for men’s I have been told jebril gate on the south side is where you enter. For just men’s group, what is the best side to stay on?
Thanks~you made superb masterpiece~fellow. 😈
Jazakallah khairan for your efforts brother. Please do more videos about Makkah, Madina.
I appreciate your comment. Thank you for watching.
Any hotels you recommend, will be travelling just me and my wife, whatever makes it easier for her
Any decent hotel on the north side should be okay. I like Al Anwar Movenpick but there are many hotels of similar quality.
Currently staying in ODST,,.its ok and only takes around 5 minutes or less, gate 328 is also tye closest gate.
Stayed in Saja Al Madinah. Good 4 star hotel.
@@majidkhan89 omd thats where im actually booked
Sir how about the Mias hotel in south of masjid an nawabi?
I don’t know the exact location but depending on how far you are able and willing to walk, you have to decide what is suitable for you.
MIAS is good. But for women side you have to go 1 hr earlier as the nearest gates will be closed very fast. For Jumaah prayers 3hrs before if want ot be inside.
Salam i going to umrah after few days inshaAllah with my family ( small kids). Please recomans me some cloaest amd afordable hotel. I have to book urgently. If you reply quickly i will appriciate jazak Allah
Salaam. Sorry, for the late reply. I guess you have already booked and gone to Umrah. Please make Dua for me and my family.
Jazakum Allahu khairn. This is information is so valuable! Thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful! Wa Iyyakum.
Sofitel, good
TQVM.
Salam brother how do I book the hotel is there any website and how will I know if I am booking g a closer hotel with the number you mentioned
Walaikum Salam, I usually book using the app/website called Booking(.)com. I search for hotels on the app, find their addresses from there and then look up on google maps where they are in relation to masjid.
Cowardly criminal army, good at fighting civilian and children.
😔
Where is the elaf al taqwa hotel situated? Qibla side or side where I can join the congregation?
If you are referring to the Elaf Al Taqwa hotel n Bani Khidrah, Madinah 42311 then it appears to be closer to the Qibla side. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t book it. Just keep the few minutes’ extra walk in mind.
Basically, you need to get the hotel on the north side
Yes 👍
Not clear for me..would you please advise some hotel name that Exactly close.. Which no gate should preferred specially for women?
Around gate 330 (a few gates to the left right) should be ok
Sofitel Al Shahd hotel
Agree
Jzk brother, I struggle with walking and booked the Saja Al Madinah which is next to this gate :)
Wa Iyyakum. If my video was any help at all, I’m glad Alhamdulillah.
Masha Allah
Syed, are there any places in Makkah and Madinah, which do breakfast. Lunch and dinner is fine but struggling to find places open for breakfast
@ A Ibrahim, many hotels do breakfast buffets. When you search on booking dot com (or the app) just select breakfast as a filter and the search results should show only the hotels that offer breakfast.
@@LifeMoves I was more asking about booking a hotel without the breakfast option and then eating breakfast elsewhere in a local cafe for much cheaper
Yes, there are eateries open in the morning. They’re not so much like breakfast cafes but rather regular restaurants and fast food joints that are open in the mornings. For example, if you were looking for cheaper options in Makkah, you could go to Al Safwa Tower nearby. You would find the regular food places open after Fajr.
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The best of the men's rows (in Salat) is the first row and the worst is the last; but the best of the woman's row is the last and the worst of their rows is the first."
[Muslim].
وعنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "خير صفوف الرجال أولها، وشرها آخرها، وخير صفوف النساء آخرها، وشرها أولها". ((رواه مسلم)).
Yes, of course the first row is the best. What’s your point?
This video is not saying don’t pray in the first row. Rather, it is providing some practical tips about what to do when the Masjid is full.
@LifeMoves thanks for your response. I don't like it to give any effort to promote this places for praying here... I did not accuse you and just showed the words of the beloved prophet ﷺ
Thank you for your kind reply.
Please do on prices of hotels and where best to choose. For an average person. Jazakum Lahu Khayran
I will try to do a video on hotels In Sha Allah. If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks for watching.
this video is really helpful thank you . i am planning a umrah trio for next month i am traveling my with elderly mom who is on wheel chair please recommend me a hotel where i have accessibility before we travel to makkah for our umrah jazakallah
I am glad that you found the video useful. I cannot recommend specific hotels but you can look up hotels on booking(.) com and then check their location on google maps. Just keep in mind the information I mentioned in the video.
@@LifeMoves jazakallah brother . my mother will be on wheel chair can i take her for prophet grave ziyarah or they have seperate ways for men and women and do they have women helpers who can push the wheel chair at a cost .. thanks
If you are a man, you cannot enter the Rawdah when it’s women’s time to visit. It would have to be a woman pushing the wheelchair.
@@LifeMoves alright and for prophets grave there are seperate ways for men and women where i will be able to find a wheel chair helper thanks
Brother what about the distance from the women entry gate if our hotel is Assaafa?
I’m not sure, sorry.
How to book cheap hotels near the masjid?
I usually use Booking dot com to find the best options. You can customise your search results using a number of filters.
Assalam O Alikum Brother, How about Zum Zum Hotel
Walaikum Salam. There are multiple hotels with similar names. Do you mean the Pullman ZamZam hotel?
Is anwar al madona movenpick a good hotel in terms of distance?
@ Madeeha, Yes, I have stayed there and would surely stay again.
@@LifeMoves InshaAllah will be staying there next week.
@@madeehaasim6164how was your experience at this place? I am thinking of booking this one for my upcoming stay.
@@voyager6576 customer service wasn’t that great and compared to a few other hotels the room itself was a bit smaller. As the building internally feels dated the lifts take ages to arrive. Reception never pick the phone and I would advise you to keep all booking confirmation with you as well as allowing for plenty of time to check in as it takes ages. The distance from the masjid at the ladies entrance gate number 328 (if I remember correctly) was the biggest plus point especially if you’re travelling with family. It takes max 5 mins on foot to reach from the hotel to masjid. They offer a large range as part of their breakfast buffet which I would recommend you have included as I didn’t see many food shops close by. There is an underground supermarket close by called bin wood within walking distance which would be handy if you were staying longer than we did. We only stayed for two days so that’s the only feedback I can give.
Le Bosporus waqf al safi is far from mosque ?
I’m not familiar with the hotel. If you give me the full address, I can check
Jazak Allah
Those are on western side if I'm not wrong. There is a large uncovered area between the hotel and the mosque on western side (gates 318 to 322 I guess). Little far but manageable. After entering the mosque compound it is easier to get a place to pray.
you are going nowhere man, don't miss led the public. Everybody who came there knew how far is his accommodation and how many minutes he need to join the namaz. the more you walk for prayer, the more you will be rewarded.
I think the word you are looking for is “mislead”, not “miss led”.
may be mislead but I am not discussing grammar here nor my first language is English. My view point is if somebody knew he needs 20 minutes to join the pray than he should walk before it. in case people stop booking hotels of the side you mention there will be huge business loss to this side and other sides will increase the rents and decrease the facilities. i hope you understand my English?
Where did I say Don’t book on the Qibla side? What I said is “Yes, you can book on this side, on the Qibla side. Just keep in mind that you have to walk a bit.”
What’s wrong with that?
as I wrote earlier this statement can effect the business of Qibla side hotels and shops. Indirectly you are agree with me by saying, "this time didn't book hotel to the Qibla side". anyhow I don't mean to discouraged or criticise you.
So what if it affects the hotel business on the Qibla side? With millions of visitors, they will never be empty. If fewer people book on that side and their prices go down, that’s great.
If there is a disadvantage on one side, why should not people know about it? If you have to walk longer from one side, would you rather not know about it and then decide?
People can then pay more and walk less. Or pay less and walk more. I don’t see any problem.
Brother are prayer areas specially for women near gate 311 ?
There are women’s prayer areas in many parts of the Masjid. Once you enter the haram, follow which way most women are going, you will find one of the women’s prayer areas.
Would Elaaf Taqwa hotel be good for ladies entrance ?
How far is it from ladies entrance
@ Huzayfa, sorry I’m not exactly sure where that hotel is
can you provide a list of hotels then?
@ Zubair, The main point of this video was which side of the masjid your hotel should be. I have mentioned a hotel in this video. You can Google it and find other hotels around it. The hotels should be on the north side of the Masjid.
assalamualaykum, how about Taiba Front? is it oke and near from female gate? because i’ll go with my elderly mom. thankyou
Walaikum Salam. The one on Musab ibn Omair street? Seems to be a good location.
@@LifeMoves thankyou 🙏
Yes Taiba front is perfect for women it’s literally outside the gate I stayed here last year easy for men and women and 5 sec walk
Taiba Front is the closest to Women's Section. Outside of 330, I have a video on my channel that will be uploaded today to show how close it is
