Hello, Davy: I'm happy to say that we both share a love of Billy Strayhorn's work. I thought I'd share one other possibility for that mysterious B-section! The first four measures are the same as I play ( | Ebmi7/ Ab7/ | Dbma7 | Emi7/ A7/ | Dma7 | ) and then, here's the second 4-bar section: | Dma/A-bass / G#mi7(b5) / | Dma/A-bass | Ab13 / G7(#5/#9) / | Gbma7 / Ab13 (#11) / || It's difficult to write the changes and the beats of each measure. I hope you can follow what I tried to do. Basically, the B-section measures would be counted: || 1-2 3-4 | Dbma7 full measure | 1-2 3-4 | Dma7 full measure | 1-2 3-4 | Dma over A-bass full measure | 1-2 3-4 | 1-2 3-4 ||. So, the 1-2 signifies two beats for the first chord in the measure and the 3-4 signifies two beats for the second chord in the measure. I hope you can use these changes that I play. I think you'll find that they are more "Strayhorn-esque" - for lack of a better word. You may also check-out my video if you like. Also, in my "Playlist" category I have a Billy Strayhorn Playlist of about ten of my favorite compositions of his. Nice work, Davy! Here's "A Flower Is A Lovesome Thing"...hope you like it! ua-cam.com/video/A9mG2jCcwIw/v-deo.html

@@frednormanguitarist6603 Welcome! :)
Sorry for the delay. Yes one of my students, Ben Prentice, pointed out that there is definitely a G#mi7b5 sound on that 5th bar of the bridge. Man, it's hard to hear everything, although I try my best!
Your fingerboard looks a little wider than usual.
Better for long fingers Steven. :) Thanks for watching and for your input! Please feel free to Like, Share and Subscribe to our channel.
