MAC studio fix fluid foundation and fix+ is forever a classic and I love how they openly used a beauty blender when in fact they created a sponge but not sure if they discontinued it.
Love the finish of MAC SFFF, perfect for oily skin but might not be for the current trend of sheer and glowy. For oily skin, with the right prep, you can still achieve the sheer and glowy look with this by applying very minimally or sometimes I go mix it straight with my moisturizer for instant/DIY tinted moisturizer or mix it with fix+, work around with fix+ before and/or after. A matte finish foundation for oily skin will give you a healthy glowy look as time goes by once your natural oil seeps out of your skin and makeup just touch up on the right places.
AND I couldn't agree more with Wayne Goss that matte finish is still better than dewy finish in photographs, stage with strong lights, or film as dewy look has the tendency to look messy in photograph and I would always gravitate to MAC SFFF in events I know lots of picture taking or getting my ID picture. This acts well with flash too.
