- Опубліковано 8 тра 2024
- After a much-needed rainy week, Alan is getting back into the fields. This time, he is working the ground that will be planted into corn. The International 1066 is put to work pulling the John Deere Field Cultivator. We check on how the oats are growing and compare the boy's oats to Alan's. Lastly, Justin recently completed his firearm safety certification course, so we bring you along for Justin's field day fun.

Trinity Dairy was established in 2006, in Minnesota. Alan and Jennifer farm with their 5 children; Jessica, Justin, Jordan, Joshua, and Jason. We milk a mix of 33 Jersey, Holstein, Brown Swiss, Guernsey, and Ayrshire cattle. We also enjoy sharing our family's love of Draft Horses and using them for logging and other farm work. Dairy Farming in Minnesota can be challenging, but it's a lifestyle we really enjoy. Subscribe today to watch our small family dairy farm and family grow while continuing to thank our Lord for the blessings we've been given.
That's fun to include the kids with their own fields.
Now that's what you call a great family farm everyone is involved Kids having their own plot is just awesome 👍
Congratulations Justin 👍I think this is Awesome and pure American ❤️
From a Canadians perspective I agree with you 100%. lol. I thought the very same thing when he was firing off the revolver.
🇨🇦🇺🇸
That 1066 sure got some power, surprises me that it pulls that many feet of field cultivator and a drag
I'm thinking you will be the winner on the yield competition on the oats😅
Looks like the field worked up nicely. Way to go young Justin.
The spring tooth and spike tooth harrows work great together.
Hope you have good weather and good crops this year. Congratulations to Justin on the firearms safety.
You are such a nice man, father, husband, and Christian. God bless your family. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Fun to see the old Massive Beast out roaring in the fields!
Jordan looks to be in the lead for best oats so far
Congrats Justin.
Thanks Brother for sharing all this .
Another great video! Really enjoy watching the 1066 doing tillage. Looks like oats are working their way up. I planted some spring wheat about 3 weeks ago and it took a couple weeks before it started sprouting. Congratulations to Justin for passing his gun safety course.
Fresh dirt and some fresh rocks....lol. looks nice 😊 🐄🐃🐂
No matter what the weather is, I always have a good crop of rocks!
I so enjoy your old school videos with the cultivate and drag harrow it seems to do a great job and thanks for the video.
Got to love spring ground work. Congratulations to Justin for passing his gun safety too.
I remember doing a small plot of wheat in the corner of the garden, then i hauled it to the chickens when it was ripe.
nothing like a young man and a single shot bolt action got mine 70 yrs ago in the hills of perry co ind
Good job Justin. Fields are looking good.
Way to go Justin on completing and passing the firearms course. ☺️👍
Way to go Justin!
Very nice job and God bless y'all with all things
I LOVE the look of the 66 series of International tractors!
I do believe Jordan has the lead on this one.
Looking forward to good growing weather. Stay safe in the field and hopefully don't have to pick up too many rocks.
The ground looked like it was working up nicely. Congratulations on passing gun safety. Looks like Justin is a good shot.

Good to see you digging corn ground. We’re still seeding oats up here in northern Carlton County. That’s a sweet looking and sounding IH monster. Love the kids fields😅.
Makes that 1066 talk leaves a nice seed bed good job

Great video! Thanks for sharing.
thank you for showing us all how it is growing up on a small farm and knowing and respectng a firearm just as it was when i was when as i was young and being shown bye my parents and grandpartents how to use a rifle the proper way
Love your channel
What some nice looking dirt. I have clay. I call it four minute ground. From the time you crack the crust to the time you get the seeds in you have four minutes. Lolololo. Today I went over ground we planted barley in. We planted it just before it rained. Now I’m trying to break the crust. It’s all sprouted but keeps hitting the crust.
Looks like that field cultivator does a pretty good job. We got 7 acres of corn planted Monday, grandpa is hoping to get a start on a 18 acre field tomorrow. Trying to work around the rain but definitely can't complain. Looks like it may be a pretty good year. Hope everything goes well for you!
Congratulations Justin.
You really good with that harrow getting close to brush and fence row but not hitting them👍
Very nice video. 👍Boe
That does a nice job fitting.
Good job Justin
Can I ask why you don't cultivate on an angle through those corn stalks? I was taught to always hit the rows at an angle to maximize ripping the old stalks out of the ground. Love seeing that old red iron doing it's thing!!
I've done that some also, but I guess I didn't notice much difference.
👀🙄🐾👍Great video Alan Jennifer and kid's the 1066 sounds well how old is she?
Your ground works up nice. Congratulations on the gun safety! Is that part of a hunter saftey program? I remember tjat being a rite of passage when I was young. Seems to be fading with the way hunter numbers are dwindling.
Our local sportsman's club hosts the class. Minnesota requires so many hours of class time and a test. They cover a lot about guns, but also ethical hunting, processing game, and more.

Hey Allen; I'm looking for a few Ayrshire for home milking. Know of any around? Be way good if they are short bred...
No, sorry, I don't know anyone who has Ayrshires around us.
With so many corn stock roots what is the best crop to plant after corn?
It doesn't matter to much, if I'm planting a small grain, I'll roll the field, to pack that stuff down.
Are you located near McGregor, Mn.
We're about 40 miles east.
I don't mean to bring up bad memories but I wanted to ask if you have the opportunity to farm your Grandpa's land or did your Grandma already had it contracted to other farmers? Please forgive me if this is a sensitive matter.
Not a problem. Yes I am able to farm my grandpa's land.
Call me old fashion I like molboard plowing. I know chisel plowing is faster and all. Just like to bury the trash
