- This brand new colourway of the Air Jordan 4 has been drawing comparisons to the ultra limited Eminem x Carhartt Air Jordan 4. This "Black Canvas" version though is not nearly as limited but it features a similar look with a canvas upper, suede accents, but with hits of red and grey dotted throughout. What do you guys think about this release?

4s are pinky toe killers. Gotta loosen the laces in those crowns or ya done. Most uncomfortable Jordan. But look dope as hell on foot.

I think these are cool. Ok but won’t age well or be hard to maintain. I would much prefer leather or full suede. Downside not suitable for all weather. Btw Sean what’s your take on the womens blank canvas 4s? Could you do a review in addition comparing both colours. Both seem ok just for summer or dry weather. A want not a need for those who have bred 4s or black cats. I am waiting for the sb Jordan 4s. Hope the don’t mess that up
I get the toe pinch with AJ4s, but once I break them in, they're fine. I could have gotten them for retail, but passed. I'm not a fan of canvas on retro Jordans.

Sean would you say that canvas stretches over time like leather does? I’m thinking of going tts and hoping that the toe box becomes roomier and less tight after a few wears.

I feel bad for those who own Eminem Carhartt. Now unless they wear a bunch of expensive clothes ppl will see Eminem’s on feet & just think that they are these instead. You can’t really tell from far away. You have to get up close to see the differences.

4s need to be recrafted full stop. How it’s widely known that this model is not only uncomfortable, but for many is painful to wear is unacceptable for its price point. 3s had a major overhaul in 2020 and it’s popularity isn’t even close.
its ridicuolous. How jordan even wore these is beyond me. The shoe is a brick, dead cushioning and still manages to be too small 🤦🏽♂ When people say its 90s tech that doesnt even make sense. Air max are from that era. Its just not fit for purpose.... that being said... it looks good. which makes it even more annoying!

At my age (47), I am just happy to have a pair of Jordan 4s. This was my very first purchase of Jordan 4s, before I got the Jordan 4 Breds. When I first saw them in a Black Canvas finish late last year online, I thought YES! This is Solid!! In some way color wise it reminds me of the Breds, only the red is found on the bottom soles. I understand the controversy about the manufacturing and fitting of the Black Canvas . My feet are a cross between narrow and wide, if that makes any sense. I find this sneaker to be more for the fall & winter than for the summer. And I wear thinner socks in them so they don't feel as tight. I'm the kind of consumer who goes for underdog sneakers and the Black Canvas to me are the Underdog kicks in the Jordan world. ⚫⚪🔴🖤🤍❤
