I remember her saying "this song doesn't sound haunting enough" on the radio. Then she proceeded to sing it this way. It's sooooo much darker and emotional this way. Like chvches went from "eh, I guess they aren't too bad" to "holy crap these guys are amazing musicians" for me after this.
