Last year LNP gave $11 BILLION to massively profiting fossil fuel companies (like Clive Palmer and Gina Rhinehart) in special taxpayer funded fossil fuel subsidies per year. $11 billion is OVER HALF of total annual cost to fund Medicare). Then the same companies have paid pretty much no tax for past 7years, well less then 1% of profit!!
What are you talking about? They both did the same thing. Labor is still talking about a plan in which anyone with half a brain knows nothing will happen in the first term because they will be planning for the plan. At least Liberals can say they created a great economy out of a pandemic that we have never seen before.
What was Morrison's last answer about? Avoids the question of how to get more young people registered to vote and goes off on a tangent about how bad social media is. Could this be because his lies are being extensively exposed across social networks and he's seeking to undermine their legitimacy...?
Yes, he says he wants to curb bullying on social media but what he really means is allow his government to see everything you think, do and say online.
He just bypassed the ENTIRE QUESTION! I have no f idea on what his answer was. 56:05 SCOMO: "Oh, you have a question on securing the integrity of Australian politics and the democratic system? LET ME GIVE YOU SUMMARY OF MY FAVORITE SLOGANS INSTEAD👍"
How the hell does the PM mash together an answer for INTEGRITY with a spin on Social Media and BULLYING (when they shelter rape within the Parliament itself.) I think scrutinizing public digital forums is the LAST thing they should be worrying about🤦🏾♂
So just within 5 mins mark: 1:28 Scomo said: our economy is one of the strongest in the advanced world. Then 4:48: it's a tough economy when you are trying to get out there and buy a house. If we interpret "strong" and "tough" to mean the same, the first statement can then be derived as Australia's economy today is one of the toughest in the advanced world when you are trying to buy a house. I doubt an average Aussie people would compliment on that kind of economy. So either that, or when he wants to take credit, the economy is one of the strongest. But when he does not want to get the blame for the blown out housing prices, the economy all of sudden becomes tough. Ho ho ho, aren't you an ingenious one?
no it wasnt both parties had strong suits and it showd that both parties were nice to eachother so no-one won but they were both seen as competent options, giving the LNP more power over the electorate since the ALP has a massive lead already in the polls.

I actually agree, but NBN has already started to add fibre to the premise. Also it wasn't "back to copper", as if they removed fibre and added copper, that's wrong. It was fibre to node instead of fibre to the premises, which means that fibre cabling would only be from premises to a node, from the node onwards it was the old copper system. It lowered costs, under the assumption that it would still be fine, but it back-fired and caused slow nbn speeds because copper can't carry as much bandwidth or travel as fast, resulting in lower internet speeds (low bandwidth) and higher latency. Hardly something that would turn an election though, might need to think of something better.

This man is just chaos defined, No idea what he's doing and no real policy just rhetoric and nonsense. Go to the elections and please vote anybody but Morrison. Just let this buffoon go as quick as possible.
Scott offering to help the lady with the NDIS issue shows that he can only enforce these inhumane policy changes behind closed doors. When faced with the people who are affected by his decisions, he worries about how it makes him look and tries to offer some kind of exemption to her. Unfortunately if he went around to everyone and offered the same exemption it would be the equivalent of a reversal of his policy! He can't stand by his decisions in public because he realises how inhumane they are.
The NDIS is very broken right now. Since start of 2021 it began to get really bad. After the Oct 2021 bill worse and now unbelievable. Anyone asking for more help with all the doctors and specialist evidence are having plans cut by 15% or more. Squeezing participants for hundred of dollars while paying junior lawyers $360,000 a year to fight the disabled participants legitimate complaints. (NDIS complaints to AAT have quadrupled over past year).
@Fact Menace well I have a friend at who knows a guy, who used to work for a guy, who was married to a girl, who had a brother and he said that it was great!
@Fact Menace “ Chauffeuring” to a club hotel or golf course?? Wtf?? Never heard that one, taking them to doctors, psychologist, physio, OT, private specialists etc. My Aunt has 1-3 appointments a day. They help her shower, dress and change her incontinence pads and colostomy bags multiple times a day. My Aunt’s carers work week days and never weekends or public holidays at her request but find higher ups quite pushy towards her regarding it. Every person on NDIS gets a extremely set budget, so if a carer works weekends and public holidays, you get less carer hours, the carers and up win, participants don’t. You are blaming the wrong people. LNP spent $33 million on lawyers and $22 million consults on AAT lawyer/consultants ALONE. LNP been forcing more expensive options on disabled people too like only going to a pool class with a physio (add physio fee $135 plus physio adds travel costs) instead of a $150 annual pass with weekly hydrotherapy classes. Also in every service catergory, where someone off the street might pay $80 for say a physio appointment, same appointment length is charged $135 to NDIS- There is where you make first MASSIVE saving from every participants, every single appointment over the year. I’m talking billions!! Whatever you charge everyone else, you should charge same to NDIS participants or that is rorting the system (legally under LNP fee guidance). This isn’t welfare, this is investment that came out of the productivity commission to help disabled people lead a more productive life in society and for themselves. The NDIS is EXTREMELY difficult to qualify for. EXTREMELY difficult to be decently funded for. Disabled people never asked to be disabled, please remember to bring your humanity to a conversation about disabled people. I don’t feel that fossil fuel companies deserve $11 billion in special taxpayer funded fossil fuel subsidies per year (half of total annual cost to fund Medicare), then to pay no tax for past 7years. But disabled people deserve a protected NDIS. Not the rusty tin sign, swinging off one chain, LNP is heading towards. Taking speech therapy and social therapies away from children, removing and last scraps of peoples basic happiness and improved mental health in the hope they will die and be better for the “budget bottom line”.
@Fact Menace the point of my comment is that scomo cannot offer tailored care to everybody which is why his compassion for this woman was so disingenuous. If he really cared he wouldnt have cut funding to the NDIS in the first place. So while your comment sought to discredit mine, what you actually did was agree with me.
So..Labor puts people before dollars, then Liberal takes over and puts dollars before people. But economy SHOULD be JUST a tool to serve the needs of people, nothing more. People aren't here to serve an economy as an end in itself. Governments can always find the money for the things THEY want and care about.
Everyone knows low unemployment rate has become an issue rather than an achievement because of global pandemic. And yet Scott boy try to take credit for it. How pathetically funny.
Allegedly it only counts the amount of jobs being done, not the amount of people actually working, meaning gig jobs are making up for the unemployed. I am unemployed as a young lad who has yet to really enter the workforce my reasons are sound but my point is that statistics would say I am employed because someone somewhere else has a 2nd job and I think that is stupid.
Labor should talk about their past policies for voters who aren’t into politics like Universal Healthcare- Medicare, Superannuations, working hours and annual leave and rights, NDIS- which actually creates jobs in addition to helping people with disabilities, old age pension, higher wage etc in comparison liberals are wasting 5 billion of taxpayers money on keeping detention centre running overseas when that can be spent on AUSTRALIANS, even those on welfare will spend it on rents, foods, buying stuffs from local shops, 5 billion which goes back to australian economy, Also why are they giving away taxpayer money- 60 billion in jobkeeper to big corps which made profit and don’t need it and 5 billion just for failed French submarine contracts.
I found it weird that we have to pay the Solomon islands to remain “friends”. And none of them had an answer for the pacific islands other than “give them more money”.
Those detention centers will be needed big time if Labor gets back in. Watch them throw the borders wide open like they always do and watch the armada of boat people start up yet again. Low Unemployment DOES NOT EQUAL full-time hours, appropriate pay rates, underemployment, or livable median income (after tax)!! The only figure they talk about is if someone is EMPLOYED. - Talk about mass casualisation of the workforce (and how people have to work 2-3 casual jobs just to support themselves) - Talk about the stagnation of wage growth in ALL areas! - Talk about how a qualified person whether of trade, degree, or experience cannot find full-time work in their fields, or work that has a livable wage, or available work in regional/rural areas and must instead work where they are overqualified/underemployed. - Talk about trade apprentice knock-backs, talk about emergency service & civil servant wage freezes! - Talk about the FEAR of returning immigrant workers placing pressure on workers trying to argue for wage/hour/permanency increases but know that employers will throw them out for cheap labour! - Talk about how this corporations INSTANTLY dismissed workers & declared insolvency the moment a disaster or COVID-19 occurred and how you Governments gave BILLIONS to these corporations - why aren't we holding them accountable for their mismanagement? Why is it workers are the first to be dismissed as unnecessary overhead but not the pay rise for the CEOs? THIS IS A COUNTRY OF UNDEREMPLOYED, OVERWORKED, UNDERVALUED PEOPLE! WE DESERVE BETTER!
unemployment will just get worse as businesses will automate their processes as technology continues to develop, they literally only care about profit hence why they laid people off during covid to minimise their profit loss
@Tom R I'd counter by saying both ABC (led by Scott Morrison appointed Ita Buttrose) and Fairfax media (Peter Costello) are biased in a pro liberal sense. If you look at covid period coverage alone a non aussie would think Dan Andrews was our PM due to sheer coverage volume whilst media was grilling him about every decision he made. Holding all politicians accountable is important Gladys recieved glowing reviews until being called by an independent corruption agency where media talked about how everyone loved/missed her (betrayed by her lover) and if an anti corruption area is a good thing. Even if for some reason people think she's innocent (which legally she is atm) she couldn't even hold a daily press release for over a month whilst Dan Andrews did for a year. Getting called a sell-out to China or Dictator Dan by politicians who have done actual "white collar" crimes (Matthew Guy overriding council zoning regulations as his brother held land that benefited from his move, holding a flag for each life lost in aged care pretending it wasn't a federal duty). Scomo also being ignored with his lack of any leadership around RAT tests, Aged Care or any policy decision around covid up until now from all channels. I know I've ranted but just because one channel talks about "men are bad blah blah blah" and the other goes "look at all these softcocks" it doesn't mean they don't support the same government who hosts parties for them, has been in power 70% of the time since federation and has somehow achieved less for the general public than Labor in that entire span.
@Tom R You are a fuckin' twat if you think that every other outlet isn't paid by American tycoons to spout conservative propaganda/economic enslavement. Stay in your bubble, let your entire life be vampired away.
In regards to the incredibly insensitive " been blessed not to have disabled children "? WTF so are you saying that people with disabilities are somehow not just as important as your perfect family? Disgusting, a true leader accepts ALL society.
Look at progressive countries everywhere, conservative economic policies are by far superior to progressive 😁. More money in the pocket of the worker, less to corrupt government officials and welfare recipients. A majority of professional economists, back the LNP. The only thing Labor is good at (kind of) are social issues, even then they can be radicalist. Also if you vote Labor you're inherently getting the greens into power as well, I really do not see any reason not to vote liberal this election. Especially with how radicalized the left has become in the last 3 years with things like: BLM, Antifa, LGBT community and more... BLM is a big one seeing as they burned the USA for 3 full months and they tried bringing it over here too, but luckily, aside from green voters, we're not that dumb here.
@@AussieZeKieL because when Labor came into power in 2008 we has 0 debt, yet when they left we had billions in debt. I also remember high taxes (including carbon tax) moving people over to the coalition.
@@benjamingavrilis71 We got into debt because Labor prevented a recession by providing stimulus packages for the GFC similar to jobseeker/jobkeeper, and also invested in long-term projects that would pay massive dividends (e.g. a completely fibre NBN which would have been massive for the economy). Since the LNP took government, the debt doubled before covid and has now tripled and is projected to hit 1 Trillion dollars within the next few years. The debt had increased massively across the last 7 years before covid, but what had the LNP actually invested that money in for long term sustainable economic growth?. Jobseeker/Jobkeeper further increased the debt, but remember during the GFC the LNP said that stimulus was a waste of money and screamed bloody murder but apparently when they're in power it's just good economic policy! Most major LNP economic policies go against expert economists, they aren't efficient and don't actually improve the quality of life for the average citizen. They're very short term and do not resolve many of the major issues we're facing. LNP values and policy put more money in the pockets of the wealthy than in the worker... lower taxes don't always mean a better quality of life, because things like wage growth and public goods and services can provide much more value.

Because the govt failed to the spend the annual disaster mitigation budget on disaster mitigation. They banked the money instead of protection people and communities. Investing in prevention strategies and infrastructure is an act to mitigate and adapt for future disaster events in order to protect people from the very thing they now experience. This could have been largely avoided if they’d invested the money in planning and development. What weak governance.
Unemployment only fell to 4% because because of the Pandemic shutting down the importation of cheap workers from oversea's. Watch it go up again now that travel restrictions are being lifted.
Correct. Morrison is trying to take credit for low unemployment. Its only because we have had zero immigration for over 2 years due to covid. We are not stupid Scott.
Unemployment number considers you employed if you work 1 hour a week and doesn’t count people who have given up looking for work. Wages have still not kept up with inflation, we have gone backwards over these 10 years.
But people online are so mean about the fact we embellished their tax dollars and use counter terrorism police on people who call out corruption. The Liberals in regards to the online bullying of politicians is basically just the guy who shoots the other guy and asks why the other guy did that.
Morrison's comments about the LNP figuring out how to pay for things is total bollocks. How does giving tax cuts pay for anything? How does giving $40 billion of BORROWED MONEY to millionaires who made profit during the pandemic fiscally responsible? The Liberal credibility on economic management is shot.
@@David-iy1zt Socialism has nothing to do with tax. Socialism is a prescription around about who owns capital, and how decisions are made around that capital. Tax does have its limits, you're right. But we arent close to those limits and cutting taxes exclusively for higher income earners is counterproductive.
@@David-iy1zt Socialism failed due to lack of incentives for workers. Economics says that marginal propensity to consume decreases as income gets higher, which means millionaires care less about earning more money because they already have heaps of it. It's why the progressive tax system exists - which the liberals are eroding by merging tax brackets. Cutting taxes for the rich doesn't benefit economic growth. Back in the 50s and 60s when the top marginal tax rate was over 75%, growth rates were much higher than they are now.
@@johnbalmain1797 Everything ran better in the 1950's and 60's because, with higher marginal tax rates, the rich paid their fair share of taxes and the government was adequately funded, able to play its proper role in the economy, redistributing that part of the national income taken out of the economy as tax revenue throughout the economy. With more recent governments focused on cutting taxes and slashing spending, economic growth has suffered, and, since 2013, gradually wound down to a standstill, but the rich have done very well. You are right where you mention 'merging tax brackets'. The Liberals abolished the 37c marginal tax bracket, so that 94% of taxpayers have 30c as their to marginal tax rate. This is effectively a flat rate of tax for all of these people, a disgraceful abuse of government power which treats people whose incomes fall just above the bottom threshold of this bracket very shabbily, and gives everyone else in this bracket a tax break on a sliding scale in direct proportion to their income. My partner is a doctor, and on the point of the expectation for a national disability recipient to reuse their colostomy bags to save costs, that is an unreasonable ask. Very high chance of infection, and the colostomy bags themselves surely can't cost that much to justify the cost cutting. It's just the government trying to cut corners. I understand that the NDIS is expensive to the tax payer and to our economy, but it needs to be treated with respect and done properly, and we CAN afford it.
Yet they spent billions to buy submarines that will never deliver and pay for penalty for the mishandling the contract with France. Is it really for national security? Of course not. National security is a long term interest and if the LNP doesn't care any mid-long term interest other than their re-election, they don't care about the national security neither. What they really does is to use Australian's money to serve the interest of US defence contractors: Lockheed, Boeing, Northrop Grumman Corp and setup a career path for their own. That is more than wrong, that is real treason if you really think of it.
Imagine if the 5 billion from the cancellation of the submarines from France was to go into the health service! I don't blame the French, I just think that our government acted reprehensibely! I noted that they 'thought' that it would cost us $3billion ... so how did they do their sums to work out the true cost of the 'new' submarines that will be obsolete by the time they are delivered anyway! All technology is outdated by the time you take it out of the shop. I was absolutely disgusted at the very thought of reusing colostomy bags! And who was supposed to do it anyway?! In regards to the cashless welfare card policy. In democratic countries like our own, people have always had the right to spend their money however they should like. This card would make that right into a luxury. This policy seeks to treat people on social security like children, claiming they can't be responsible for their own well being. It's not very encouraging for those who are on welfare for genuine reasons, people who've had the roughest lives of all, been dealt the worst hands and that struggle to make a better life for themselves and their loved ones. Instead it treats them like second class citizens, having a negative effect on confidence, mental health and well-being; not a great situation for finding employment. The way I see it is that cigarettes and alcohol are the main items that misused welfare money goes towards, which are extremely heavily taxed already, so most of the money replaces itself. The interesting thing about this card is that a person can only spend money at specific stores, decided by the government. This is an obvious conflict of interest, given the current level of corruption in office, especially considering the power over the economy and industries of this country that corporations like woolworths control. Unemployment in the future will skyrocket, due to automation becoming a more economically viable option for businesses; especially small ones. Many people will simply be replaced by a machine that doesn't need to be paid. Would you like to only be able to spend money through this card? This policy is totally undemocratic, going against a great many fundamental Australian values, especially freedom of the individual and the idea of a fair go for all. I know our political system seems hopeless, but please don't give up on democracy.
go Albo I have given you 100percent . It is bad that Albo got 15 minutes of questions and the loud mouth had 30 minutes. But that was to to be exspected with with station because they hate the Labor party 🙄

There is not one radio station or media TV out let that agrees with Labor. There all for the Pork barrelers pork barreling, for liars, for frudters who uses tax payers to pay for a block of land for 30 million dollars which was only worth 30 thousand dollars, used tax payers money to build car parks in marginal seats that did not exist And you think that is OK!!! Well ! I don,t . There is one thing that the Labor party and their supporters has, is honesty, scruples, trusted. It was funny that I just listening to a program that said ; The Liberals won a court case that has allowed them to lie in campaign s and they can say whatever they like about the members of the Labor party. In other words the libs can get away with it.
To begin with, I think that the moderator favoured the PM where time was concerned, and he also cut off Mr Albanese just as he was making some worthwhile points, yet allowed Mr Morrison to waffle on without answering the actual question. I noticed that the Opposition leader wasn't as comfortable as the PM in the discussion as I thought that he was quite shy. However this doesn't mean that he would make a poorer PM. I could certainly see his point about the PM not finding common ground in order to find the best solution for our country. I could also see from his behaviour, that Mr Morrison could easily be a bully. I wasn't sure about who I'd vote for this election, but I've certainly made up my mind now! The current government hasn't done much to improve the lives of Australians that weren't already put in place by the Labor government before them. This was something that I'd forgotten. I know that I certainly don't want my country's leader as condescending as this one is. He didn't answer the questions as he was obviously not listening to them, but was doing his best to think up answers to put himself in a good light. I want someone who isn't out there to score points. I don't want to constantly hear about the PM'S family, about buying their first home for $67,000. Not interested in hearing how well this dept, or those workers were when times were tough because he wants to appear to be empathetic. We all know who worked hard, and who didn't, during the bushfires, COVID and the recent floods. This PM constantly using the excuses that these were unprecedented should not mean unprepared. We've known for years that the climate changes are here, or did the PM have his back turned when the subject was being discussed in parliament? The PM was constantly saying (boasting) about the millions of dollars spent on this or that, then how important economic management was. We didn't need to hear this because we all do it when we've go to the shops ... even to buy a litre of milk! He didn't mention the wasted billions when all of a sudden out government broke the agreement with France for the submarines we'd agreed to buy from them. That did enormous damage to Australia's reputation, especially amongst the EU countries, and I don't blame them! The cost of these new submarines obviously wasn't discussed properly before placing the order for the new ones from the USA because had this been the case, they would have known that it was going to cost Australians five billion dollars just to break the agreement with France. This coming from the economically responsible government! Anyone involved in buying new technology is well aware that the moment you purchase a new computer, etc that it's already superseded. The government should have foreseen this when they originally placed the order for those submarines in 2015. They should also be aware that the 'new' submarines will also be outdated at least by the time the agreement is finalised and signed, or will the government also cancel this agreement because there will also be a newer model available that they didn't know about when agreeing to these? They haven't even told us how much or how many of these submarines they have ordered, or when they are expected to arrive. After all, Australia's signature on government orders isn't worth the paper it's printed on if our agreement with the French is anything to go by, so why even commit themselves to informing us of those basic details! Perhaps the change of mind had something to do with the newly formed AUKUS and it would look good to the USA? It seems to me that our current PM is only too happy to cosy up to the Americans like a child whose finally been noticed and invited to the birthday party by the most popular boy in school. He feels the need to take the best present to the party! Now onto the staffing failures in the nursing homes across the country. Why hasn't this government asked themselves why there are plenty of nursing staff for our hospital, but less than the bare minimum in aged care homes, or in the community aged care organisations? Why hasn't this government been asking the question about what's causing the difference between staff in hospitals and those in aged care. It's quite simple. It's because those jobs in aged care have to work much harder because the job itself is much harder work, both physically and mentally, but they are not paid higher rates of pay! I hear this from so many people who used to work in nursing homes, in aged care community jobs, as well as disability care services. The work is harder in each of these sectors, and as such, the staff should be paid accordingly! I think it's a absolute disgrace to hear that there are so many aged care homes that there isn't even the very basic requirement of at least one nurse 24/7! One fully qualified nurse should be the absolute minimum for aged care homes. Don't tell me that if they all had one nurse 24/7 that so many homes would have to close, because if it is the case that many of them don't even have one nurse at the very minimum, then they deserve to be closed down! Surely the PM wouldn't have considered it satisfactory if his father was in a nursing home without a fully qualified nurse in charge at the very minimum of one! Is this the reason why staff only stay for weeks, or usually at a maximum of months? The pay is is so unreasonable for the hard work that's required, and even for those with only the basic 6 weeks at Tafe leave because the patient to staff ratio is so lacking that they burn out. There are also staff who barely speak English, but they remain because of the language barriers for other jobs. This would be additionally difficult for those staff, and would be a reason for harsh treatment of residents when caring for them because they are also required to do so much work in a very short period of time. This is also one of the reasons why there are so many complaints by the families of residents regarding physical or verbal abuse, meals not being served, or even meals being fed to residents who require extra care. There are also many complaints about residents not being toileted, or changed when required, and even being left in soiled bedding. There are certainly a lot more nurses in hospitals! This surely has been noted by these Ministers responsible for all areas of aged care, including the shortage of qualified staff. They shouldn't have had to wait for the results of a Royal Commission to know of most of the staffing failures, and to rectify the most obvious at least. Yes, there certainly need to be a lot more training places available for the growth of people coming into aged care homes, particularly as the baby boomers are beginning to require more assistance. If there aren't even the extreme minimum number of qualified nursing staff in aged care homes now, what will it be like in less than 5 years time? Where is the planning for these increased numbers by this government? Not all baby boomers have family who can care for them at home, so in what type of conditions will they be expected to live? Why was it even necessary to have a commission into aged care? They could have reached the same conclusion about how dire the situation just by listening to the staff. They have been demonstrating for help and higher rates of pay for yeard, which is what we've seen so often thanks to so many of the regular investigations by the media showing how serious the situation has been, for at least the last 10 years minimum! This situation hasn't just happened overnight. It's been going on for years, and getting increasingly worse. Perhaps the government has been hoping that euthanasia will fix the problem for them! I can say that if I was placed in an aged care facility without decent nursing assistance 24/7, I'd certainly be taking that course of action! Problem solved!
They did not address the first man's question regarding WHY Australia allows foreign ownership of our property when it is UNHEARD OF in so many surrounding Asian countries.

the host was clearly biased towards Scomo in this. allowing him waffle on well and truly over his allotted time, allowing Scomo to ask Albo a question during a debate where the public ask the questions even though the host earlier on said "we are trying to get through as many questions as possible". The question about the boats shouldnt have been brought up as it wasnt an audience question, as well as being a topic that is of little importance to the vast majority of Australians. Scomo saying he is "blessed" not to have an autistic child is disgusting, saying he likes how the NDIS is right now but not explaining the massive cuts his party is going to do to the NDIS is a complete dodge of the question. This whole debate shouldnt have been hosted by Sky News and should have been on one of the national broadcasters. Wouldnt be surprised if the liberals had a hand in getting sky news to host it so they can have the upper hand.
I like how Albo said They will jump on board with any good ideas, and no just say no for the sake of it. This is what the country needs good ideas from both parties, and to work together.
"not always seek to blame someone else" definitely loved watching this with a non bias open view. as a young person and looking at the future albo definitely said what he was going to do not what he has done. I work as a support worker for the NDIS and I have personally seen people that need the help that had been on the NDIS been neglected due to not getting funding just like Ethan and I have also seen people on the NDIS who simply are abusing the system. would definitely be interesting moving forward on what they are going to do about that?
Participants abusing the system of carers, support workers upwards?? The companies who pay participants invoices are pretty strict. Especially since Oct 2021 and last few months is worse.
@@leechedpodcast You mean aged care Nursing homes. Each with one with one nurse on 24/7. Cost less then taking them to nurse in hospital unless required. $19 million is cheap!! LNP happy to spend $11 billion on special tax subsidies last year alone for fossil fuel companies like Clive Palmer and Gina Rhinehart. We got nothing in return. Including no tax from these companies for past 7years!!
...and what was that last comment from Mr Morrison about SM?? Social media is responsible for people disagreeing in a more aggressive way? Will you banish social media? Question was, "How can we encourage young people to enroll to vote?" I image the obvious answer is "ask them what is important to them?"
Regarding the question about NDIS cuts --you shouldn't need to get the special attention of the Prime Minister to fix your NDIS funding issue. While Scotty can pull some strings to get Ethan's funding fixed, there are too many others out there slipping through the cracks made by the Morrison government.
I have ADHD and was first diagnosed around a year or so before the NDIS, I never saw any benefits personally because support for ADHD wasn’t considered important enough, my high school didn’t even offer any support for ADHD but it offered support for Autism which if you know about these things, ADHD and Autism both impact education greatly. I fell through the cracks and I am only just pocking up the pieces now, if there was reforms made in my high school years such as an expansion to the NDIS maybe my education outcomes could have been better, and yes my grades were terrible, despite every teacher I have ever had described me as smart, and all because I didn’t get the support I needed for my disability, when I had aspersions for possibly even university, and unfortunately that ship has sailed, because I was left behind. That’s life I suppose but that just isn’t good enough, the only reason I have been able to pick up the pieces wasn’t anything to do with any government, it was my vigorous research of what living with ADHD actually means, which greatly improved my self-esteem, and my mental health, I still have a long way to go, and I will tell you that a decade of liberal government didn’t do diddly squat for me, if anything it actively ignored my existence and is part of a socially conservative disposition that actively discriminates against neurologically disabled Australians by considering them morally deficient for their inability to meet conservative standards. I am tired of having an uncaring government.
Scott was stupid by keep saying that this election is all about the "Economy". Obviously, it definitely turned people down greatly by emphasising that. As what people have been experiencing was regardless the economy was in good shape or not. The general public was still the major victim as a result of all the failures of governments' decisions, policies & wastes. Scott just didn't pick the appropriate approach to engage with voters.

Average house prices in Sydney = $850,000 x 2% deposit = $17,000, 17k is a lot of money for people to save on minimum wages or income, especially with high inflation etc, near impossible for many people to even save 17k.
Because they want house prices to go up, because half the electorate owns their own home (ageing population). All their policies about 'housing affordability' are really designed so the rich old homeowners keep getting richer and the younger generation is saddled with a mortgage they'll be paying off for the rest of their working life if they want to fulfil the 'dream' (fiction) of home ownership (in reality, the bank owns it and you're just paying rent to them in the form of interest). Not to mention, all this to support an industry of real estate agents, conveyancing and banking built on bureaucracy that doesn't contribute anything productive to the economy.
The major parties are addicted to increasing GDP by irresponsible levels of immigration. Whilst GDP may increase, the slice of the pie gets sliced smaller and smaller, and actual standard of living decreases.

LNP did that so we could not stream videos and we would need to stay with Murdoch's Foxtell.

The only thing Labor is good at (kind of) are social issues, even then they can be radicalist. Also if you vote Labor you're inherently getting the greens into power as well, I really do not see any reason not to vote liberal this election. Especially with how radicalized the left has become in the last 3 years with things like: BLM, Antifa, LGBT community and more...

@Sky and Murdoch Trigger You are you trying to convince people to vote for Albo lmao

Correct. Morrison is trying to take credit for low unemployment. Its only because we have had zero immigration for over 2 years due to covid. We are not stupid Scott.
Also they changed the requirement of what counts as "fully employed".
maybe, but the bigger factor was completely changing the definition of employed to make the LNP look better. Albo should have jumped on that

Taxing has its limits. Socialism teaches us that
Liberals have blown out the nation debt nearly 5 times what it was when they went into office ten years ago.
Albo really did smash this
In regards to the cashless welfare card policy.

Jesus, some people have too much time in the comments section.

Because they want house prices to go up, because half the electorate owns their own home (ageing population).
