A couple steps backward with the refresh. Losing your physical HVAC controls to a screen automatically makes the previous Gen Maverick more desirable. Same with real gauges versus a big screen that will fail at some point - big question being will it fail on you while you’re driving on the highway? I doubt customers are asking for the things automakers are doing.
The black roof on the '25 is part of the black appearance pkg, not part of the moon roof option. But this is just one example of the inaccuracies in this video between specific trim levels, versus the option packages. The front recovery hooks (for example) are part of the FX4 option package, no matter which model year.
The 2024 front end looks better. The only thing I like better on the 2025 is the center screen and euruption green. Losing the climate controls is lame. For 2024 AWD Lariat owners, there really isn't a reason to upgrade to a 2025.
That's not accurate. The 20k was the first year only and did not include shipping of $1495. Plus that price lasted less than a year before increases started to happen. Also, that was for the base XL model only.
Let’s correct you here: Powertrain has changed, the 2025 2.0 is the new MPC engine with a particle filter. While the hybrid engine is the same, it now available with AWD.
Totally agree the front end looks like the ultimate warriors makeup, bigger screen is cool but if it craps out you can’t control ac so that’s lame 🤷🏻♂️
What crazy is ford still has no discounts on 2024 model. I'd be more interested in a 24 ecoboost awd base model. Dealers i talk to say they will take 1000 off that's about it. At that point might as well get the 25
The "Hand Gesture" button, is the BRAKE HOLD button! You should really know what you are talking about before you start speaking. The "Engine On/Off" button is the Auto Start/Stop button.
this truck is one small redesign away from being an icon. i love the direction of the design. for the love of god ford, get rid of the touch screen everything and put some knobs back. cheap plastic is fine. i dont need luxury items in a truck.

Horrible decision to put temp controls into the touch screen.
Agreed 100 percent I could see that being really annoying as well as a driver distraction.
Raising prices and dwindling build quality... no no it has a bigger screen !! Clearly a must buy.
The new front looks good. The grill is bigger and wider with the lights being smaller makes it look more aggressive.
Thanks for your input!!
More like regressive!😂
I just wish all car manufacturers would give a very basic truck, with no computer gadgets.
Depending on your age demographic your idea of basic varies. Not many would go for a pre OBD barebones truck
I prefer physical knobs and buttons for the HVAC. That doesn't belong on the screen

I don’t believe I said the black roof is part of the optional moon roof. Thank you for the correction and sorry for the mistake. Appreciate it.
Nice job on the presentation.👍👍
Thank you greatly and appreciate the compliment and support!!
Love the 2025
I saw it this morning and it looks great in “person"! Way better than the old one!
Which do you like most?
@ the 25 model
I could be wrong but I thought they added 2 trims. You mentioned the LOBO but they also made the Tremor
That 2024 comes with scorpions and recovery hooks because of the Fx4 package that it has equipped. Nothing to do with Lariat trim.

So now you have to look at the screen to change ac vs feeling a nob. Etc. Why can't they just make a truck
I would appreciate having the recovery hooks even though I might never use them.
First few years were the best. Because you could still get it for 20k.
That's not accurate. The 20k was the first year only and did not include shipping of $1495. Plus that price lasted less than a year before increases started to happen. Also, that was for the base XL model only.
Decent design upgrade on the 2025.
I like the interior upgrade more than anything.

Few mistakes here and there, but I think there is potential for you guys to get big. Keep the good work.
Appreciate that, we are still learning!
just wondering, does the 2025 sit higher since the tires are 19"?
Ground clearance remains same.
No fog lights? On either?
No
I have a 2024 Maverick and like it much better than the 2025. The front looks out of balance!
Disagree 25 is so much nicer
24 looks dated compared to 25
Comes down to preferences! I honestly think both look good. I don’t incline to one more than the other.
Preference I say.
Totally agree the front end looks like the ultimate warriors makeup, bigger screen is cool but if it craps out you can’t control ac so that’s lame 🤷🏻♂️
Horsepower difference?
2025 all day long. ordered from granger! the wait begins, one week in, like 4 months to go.
Lariat grill looks different the grill on this truck is only available with the black appearance package.

You would be better off with the 2024 from a dollars standpoint. The prices went up a good bit for 2025, as they have for the last 3 years.
What's the color on the new one?
We drop the MSRP sticker in the video, it has the colors on them.
Azure Gray Metallic
The interior of the 2024 looks better.
You notice that they always go with the highest priced trim levels. I would prefer a 2024 XLT with no options other than a blue metallic paint.
The "Hand Gesture" button, is the BRAKE HOLD button! You should really know what you are talking about before you start speaking. The "Engine On/Off" button is the Auto Start/Stop button.
I'm searching for a 24, front end alone was enough to make me look elsewhere
Should be a single cab version , with a larger bed or a extended cab
I didn’t think of that but good point.
this truck is one small redesign away from being an icon. i love the direction of the design. for the love of god ford, get rid of the touch screen everything and put some knobs back. cheap plastic is fine. i dont need luxury items in a truck.
Haha nice 👍🏼 sounds like you like it!
Are the hood stickers part of the black appearance package? Rather do without.
Yes.
That offset license plate looks awful.
Older looks better. 2025 front looks like a mistake. Just doesn't flow well with the design of the rest of the truck.
He is wrong on horse power old is 253 new is 238. Less horse power
is it true that the 2025 bed is 6" longer than the 2024?
- 12 hp
-12 hp
My 22 lariat was $32k with sunroom and a bunch of add-ons. Now a lariat with sunroof is +$40k. Not worth it.
Wow, my house doesn't even have a sunroom!
Goodness, the amount of misinformation and mistakes made in just the first minute and a half comparing the two…
Like what?
…. Ummmm…. Exactly what if you don’t mind me asking… I don’t mind the criticism
The new headlights are ugly.
