A teaspoon of Cinnamon powder diluted with half a glass of water poured when watering works fine furthermore, neem powder sprinkled on the soil or it's oil diluted with shampoo, sprayed in moderation around the pot works well. I used to have ants, but now I put cinnamon in my soil when I pot the plants. I rarely see ants. When I do, they seem to only be on the bloom stalks. Once I remove the stalks the ants are gone. I think I have been lucky for the most part.
