Why Are ANTS So Attracted To Succulents?

A teaspoon of Cinnamon powder diluted with half a glass of water poured when watering works fine furthermore, neem powder sprinkled on the soil or it's oil diluted with shampoo, sprayed in moderation around the pot works well.
Apply till the colony disappears.

I used to have ants, but now I put cinnamon in my soil when I pot the plants. I rarely see ants. When I do, they seem to only be on the bloom stalks. Once I remove the stalks the ants are gone. I think I have been lucky for the most part.
