We churn the curd mixed with water till the butter separates, you can do it in the mixer too. The resulting liquid is the true buttermilk.....:)

I am gonna start hair care and skin care routine, but I don't know anything, seen many videos, but it's overwhelming and I'm confused, so can anybody please tell me the proper routine for what should I follow.
Like oiling before shampoo, conditioner for hair length, but what is hair serum for? I have seen hair spray also? But what for? When should we apply? If I didn't apply oil daily, then what should I use before hair styling for daily?
For skin care also, my skin is combination type. I'm allergic to cosmetics, now I got to know about homemade/ natural alternatives but there are many things, like toner, Moisturizer, cream, face serum, face wash, etc... but what is the order to follow all those? When to use?
P.S. Going to college from next month, gonna stay in hostel.. so please recommend hostel friendly... 😅

Please don't get overwhelmed, lot of people are allergic to many ingredients so I want to give everyone wide recipes to choose from. I would suggest first choosing a serum and moisturizer and using them daily. Choose and apply a face pack weekly twice or thrice and scrub weekly once.
Regarding hair care, first choose a hair oil and a hair pack and use them as a preshampoo treatment before hair wash alternatively

@@rithiruth824hi. Since you are just starting off college (you should be 17-18 years of age) am sure your skin wouldn’t need so much of products. Plz don’t go by the strict regime for skincare routine for now.
Skincare - you can start with a good gentle cleanser
Don’t use physical scrubs on your face !
Use a good moisturizer and sunscreen. Unless you have acne or any pressing skin issues, just start with this simple routine and be consistent with it.
For hair care - any homemade oil that you have been using? Else just see whether you can make oil at home - coconut oil+curry leaves+methi+hibiscus (will do wonders for hair)
Use a gentle shampoo and conditioner according to your hair type.
And if you feel hair is very brittle or dry, you can try using a hair serum at the end to give you that smooth finish
