Nice video, thank you. I'm on the fence buying it while Spring sale in running. I already have Elysion 2 but never used it unfortuantely. The sound of Nordic Spheres appeal to me a bit more. Do you know both and may comment on the differences?

I can't say I'm familiar with Elysion 2 so I can't compare, but intuitively I understand the comparison. Dig a little deeper on both to make your decision, but for what it's worth, Nordic Spheres is a great tool, very rich in ambient, dark textures including pads and pulses. As mentioned in the review above, the quality of the samples allows it to really cut through with some unique sound design tools. Also, bear in mind, it needs a beefy CPU to really make full use of it's features! Good luck. Greg (The Sampleist)

@@totalmusicfreedom Thank you very much. I bought it. The pulses are really nice although I think these are too repetitive (by nature) and you cannot output MIDI I think. The dark atmospheres are sometimes a bit similar.
Yes, it is CPU-heavy when using the granular engine heavily. I saw about 100-200 voices simultaneously. What I hate about it is, that I cannot use the mousewheel to browse through the snapshots, I cannot search them, I cannot sort then. I can only filter them and set favorites.
